I bet the issue is with HMP.A's incompatibility with Bitdefender, again. While together, they are known to cause problems.

Try lowering Active Threat Control, or the Intrusion Detection System. I think this may solve the issue.

Also, if not already done, exclude each other.

Yeah it may have been quarantined up by Bitdefender, try looking in Bitdefenders quarantine and restore it.
I would also proceed as XhenEd suggests :thumb:

Thank you, the issues seems to be gone:thumb:. I did not expect that this will be fixed before the 3.7 update, but highly appreciate that it was:).

Also, I just noticed that the german translation in the "Safe brwosing" -> "Web browsers" tap of "Open browser..." is wrong. The current translation "Offene Browser..." would mean something like "currently open brwosers" instead of the action of opening it. (It should be translated "Öffne Browser...")

No issues on my Windows 7 x64 system (see signature).
However, there's no iTunes on my systems, so I haven't tested that.

    P.S.
In case you might have missed my May 11 report for previous build HMPA 3.6.5.592, I tested that for the CryptoGuard and LibreOffice x86 on Windows x64 issue that I reported January 24 and February 3, and as I reported on May 11, the CryptoGuard and LibreOffice x86 on Windows x64 issue was fixed in 3.6.5.592, tested with LibreOffice x86 version 5.2.7.2.
To be sure, I tested HMPA 3.6.6.593 with LibreOffice x86 version 5.3.3.2. It's still fixed. :thumb:

    No fix for FarCry4. :'(
Too soon I guess for such a minor problem (not to me).
    I miss HMPA.

    Thanks.

Do you know if it is possible to have it split into three individual licences?

I am running a 30 day trial at the moment. If I add a licence, will that be 30 days + licence term or will I lose the trial period?

You should lose the trial period.
If you have used the 3-PC-license on one PC for more than 30 days, you should have no trial anymore after activation of the 3-PC-license on a different PC.

Afraid Bitdefender is not the cause as I did a full uninstall / re-installed hmpa and I still have the same issue, any other ideas?

    Thanks

Mood answered the question regarding running the trial and adding the license. If you add the license while running the trial, you will lose the remaining trial period. If you want to maximize its use, activate the license when the trial ends.
Regarding splitting a 3PC license into three individual licenses, I've never seen that. I don't know if it can be done. But I suppose it wouldn't be quite fair, as three individual licenses are more expensive than one 3PC license.

In your post you list this error:
“The HitmanPro.Alert service service depends on the HitmanPro.Alert Support Driver service which failed to start because of the following error:The specified procedure could not be found.” END
This is often caused by a quarantine or it being deleted from the system, or corruption, if those don't apply to you, then I would report your issue to Erik and let him help you he will reply to your PM, he's pretty good about helping. Good luck ;)

Looks like a misconfiguration. Try resetting the setting via the gear icon on the top right of the main GUI.

    Works! Thanks!

I noticed on the first start, that the iTunes UI hung and that I couldn't maneuver to Playlists or Podcasts (or different). But the sound kept playing. Also closing worked only over Taskbar, respectively not over the closing button in iTunes. But it doesn't appeared after I opened iTunes again.

    That's right.

For anyone wondering, Eric solved it - I used driver verifier to check a broken USB driver and forgot to turn it off, now everything is back to normal.
    Thanks Eric!

No problems installing / running 593 on primary machine.

I do have iTunes but seldom use it so had not encountered that error.

Posting this here as I was unable to find a HMPA support link on the Sophos website.

I downloaded and installed a trial copy of HitmanPro Alert, but the system scan function consistently fails and the HMPA mmc is empty.

I have a stand-alone system with Windows 7, 32-bit, and Norton Security Deluxe. I added hmpalert.exe to the Norton scan exclusions, but it made no difference.

I try to keep my system locked down as much as possible by disabling all unecessary services and protocols. Are there any services or protocols necessary for HMPA to function properly?

Incidentally, I ran into the same issue, traffic scan failed, while using a trial version of Heimdal Pro, but had no problems with Zemana Anti-Logger, Webroot SecureAnywhere, or Malwarebytes 3. Since the scanning on all of these programs is cloud-based, I can't figure out why HMPA won't work.

Based on the advertised feature set, my preference out of all of these programs is HMPA, so any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you.
