Maybe it helps to upgrade to Build 592. CryptoGuard false positives were fixed in this build.
If it doesn't help, disable CryptoGuard temporarily until BleachBit has finished its job.

Are you using the overwrite feature in BleachBit aka secure delete? That is typically what triggers CryptoGuard when using cleanup programs.

The operative phrase is, "all of a sudden", as in just yesterday the termination of BleachBit by HMP.A began, on two different 7x64 machines. Same BleachBit, same HMP.A. I will try 592. TY
In Preferences/General the default box is checked, 'Overwrite files to hide contents', which seems to me to be at the heart of a program like BleachBit, otherwise just delete, right? :) But I will investigate running without that setting if 592 does not fix the termination, or I will disable CryptoGuard temporarily. TY for your help.

The explanation I've heard is secure file deletion, ie overwriting files with ones & zeros, looks like an encryption process to CryptoGuard so it intercepts. Let us know what you find out ;)

I installed 592 and ran BB without changing the file overwrite setting. No termination from CryptoGuard.
This was on one machine. I'll be repeating the process on the other before long. I'm very pleased that the interception disappeared.

Edit in: 2nd machine ran BB without CryptoGuard terminating it, so 592 did the trick for me and BleachBit.

Has anyone got a link to the hmp.a exploit test tool?

I'd really appreciate one if you have one, or a copy to share.

    Thanks.

Edit: I found this, is it the latest version?

As regards HMPA 2.6.5, where do I find the "alert" log files (if any) and where do I zero out the alerts? Other than the registry. And, in addition to the basic options button, are there other user settings and if so where? As is clear from the below, I have 17 alerts (mostly false alarms from starting IE).

The alerts can be found in the Windows Event Viewer under Windows Logs, Application (you can't clear them from the HitmanPro.Alerts custom filter).

As for the options I don't know, but did you click on the "settings" button?

Use Windows Event Log to find alerts.

Got worse for me. With 12.6 I could at least play one song. 12.6.1 freezes almost instantly with all the previous described effects.

Forgot to mention that I run 2.6.5 on an old XP Pro machine and the Event Viewer under same is quite different. I checked but couldn't find any "alert" entries for HMPA. As for options, yes, I clicked on "settings" but the options are very basic. That's not what I was looking for .. and quite likely there are no other settings-options. But I don't know.

What happens if you double click on the "number of alerts" on lower left side of main interface, above "last alert"? If I do this, Event Viewer with all the HMPA events launches. I clear all the event logs and then shutdown or restart. This usually clears the number of HMPA events to zero. This is Windows 10 CU, however. The snip shows 0, but I had 2 alerts I cleared from today.

Edit: try clicking on the "number of alerts" in your interface, as it's on XP and therefore different.

HMP.A is reading the Windows Event Log to display the number of alerts. If you clear the Event Log, the number of alerts is set to 0:

Yes, it is the correct link and v1.9.2.26 (Feb. 2016) should be the latest version.
    There is also a 64bit-version available v1.8.0.23 (Apr. 2015):
    http://dl.surfright.nl/hmpalert64-test.exe

but it is preferred to use the 32bit-version of the exploit tester:
