Hello, Could anyone suggest or recommend a cookie extension for chrome which works similar to the firefox extension self destructing cookies.? Thanks.
It does not work unfortunately, I was using for years until I have found out. Last time updated in 2014 might have something to do with it. I use CCleaner to whitelist cookies for now.
What exactly isn't working? I see that it is correctly whitelisting cookies and other cookies are deleted after [x] minutes
A suggestion; Delete all browsing data including cookies in chrome Systematically open up all useful websites that you need cookies for to save login data etc like, Gmail, youtube, facebook etc. Add these to the "manage exceptions list" in chrome Then apply the setting "Keep local data until I quite my browser" This removes all unwanted cookies on exit, while keeping the ones that are useful. regards.
/me using also vanilla - no problems (it works like "cookie culler" for firefox). although its a bit older. using also "Disable Cookies" (on/off/default) and "Awesome Cookie Manager" (cookies in chromium are a bit complicated to reach now)
Old thread but this extension deletes cookies that you haven't white or grey listed based on a timer you set. Grey listed won't be deleted til a new session is started. You can export and import your rules also. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cookie-autodelete/fhcgjolkccmbidfldomjliifgaodjagh
