Hello all Just wanted to share some info on the next version of Hosts Block. As it's been since may of last year that I've updated it. This next version coming in a few weeks will have Option to change modes. Modes will be 1 have Hosts Block manage a defined hosts file like mvps hosts file. 2 user maintained hosts file, Hosts Block can still be set to update the hosts file 3 Active Protection only, no hosts file changes Hosts Block will only monitor changes to the Hosts file. Better program updating for Hosts Block Optional DNS protection. Hosts Block can now be able to watch changes to the computers DNS and Block changes. Optional logging of Hosts Block activities Password protection added into Hosts Block. Removed advert from beginning at install of Hosts Block. Please note that the free version will later have email registration to use the free version of Hosts Block.This is only to allow me to see how much Hosts Block is used only. Happy to say about 15 thousand people use the free version These are just some of the major changes. Thank you Brock
