    Were there HMPA alerts?
You can copy alert details from Event Viewer.
To get Alert details from Event Viewer:
Open the HMPA user interface, and click "Number of alerts", or "Last alert", that will open Windows Event Viewer.
This takes a moment as a HMPA module is added to Event Viewer.
In Event Viewer, in the HitmanPro.Alert Events section, information can be seen regarding HMPA events.
Take the entry regarding the specific alert.
Select all text, use Ctrl+C to copy the selected text, and past in a next reply in this thread.

Also, it may be helpful if you can give details regarding your system:
what is the Windows version, exactly,
what antivirus program do you use,
do you use any other realtime security applications, and if so, which?

After upgrading to 587/588 i also noticed some issues and i had some crashes, a BSOD, etc.
After reverting back to 586 all issues disappeared and the system was stable.

I'm gonna report it with more details to the developer via PM or email.

Erik, the HMPA subscription at my office expired in February. I let it expire without renewing because all our machines use Libreoffice.

Looking at the long wait between updates, do we have to move to the sophos product or can we still stick with HMPA?
Also, is the libreoffice issue present in the sophos product?

Up-to-date Windows 10 Pro x64, protected by HMPA and Emsisoft Internet Security 2017.3.

I don't have access to that PC right now, so I need to check the Event Viewer later today.

If it is an option at the office, changing x86(32bit) LibreOffice to x64(64bit) LibreOffice may help.
The CryptoGuard and LibreOffice issue that I reported January 24 and February 3, seems to affect only x86(32bit) LibreOffice on Windows x64(64bit) not x64(64bit) LibreOffice. It seems to be a CryptoGuard and LibreOffice x86(32bit) on Windows x64(64bit) issue only.
Also, the CryptoGuard and LibreOffice x86(32bit) on Windows x64(64bit) issue only occurs with very specific LibreOffice actions, see the details in my February 3 report.

    Thanks, XIII.
I hope that information may be helpful to Erik and Mark and colleagues.

Is anyone else having issues with Windows 10 Pro x64, HMPA 587/588 and Emsisoft Internet Security 2017.3?

Updated to build 588 on the 31st, and have not had any more alerts. Seems to have corrected whatever was leading to the uncharacteristically larger number of alerts I received in build 587.

FWIW I am not running EIS, but EAM 2017.3 with HMPA 588, with no issues.

    Hello Erik,

Will this major new Build also have a new UI (interface)?

Please remind me how to stop the orange/green keyboard encryption notification. It obscures Hangouts' cursor as I am entering message text.

Installed 3.6.4.588 on one 7x64 machine that has been giving me lots and lots of Mitigation IAF alerts on MAILWASHERPRO.EXE and OUTLOOK.EXE. After only a brief time with 588 the alerts have stopped for now, hopefully for good. They were not happening all the time, very intermittent. I'll soon install 588 on another 7x64 machine to see if the problem has been fixed there as well. TY

Build 588 now running on two 7x64 machines and I haven't had a single Mitigation IAF alert. Looks like it is doing its job. TY

Installed build 588 (via the automated process on reboot) on Vista HP SP2 x64. Now clicking on MS Word (Office 2007) in the Start Menu doesn't do anything. I can open Word by typing "winword" in Start Menu search and then clicking on that; however, there's no orange encryption pop-out when I start typing (it IS enabled in HMP.A and other applications show it).

Also -- and more importantly -- I can click on the Outlook (2007) link in the Start Menu, and the program opens, but the list of e-mails merely says "Loading..." and doesn't actually finish loading the stored e-mails, let alone start downloading new ones. All I get is a spinning circle. That had never happened before under any circumstances.

    This is bad.

Unfortunately I have an appointment this afternoon and can't uninstall HMP.A to see if the problems go away (they'd better).

UPDATE: The Outlook issue turned out to be related to the Norton 360 spam plug-in. Disabling it made it possible for Outlook to complete loading. However, I am still not getting the orange flyout that indicates that keystrokes are encrypted by HMP.A.

After a reboot, I was also able to launch MS Word normally via the Start Menu. But again, there is still no orange encryption flyout.

The encryption indicator does show up when I type something in the Pale Moon browser, but this is the only application I've tried where the flyout shows up.

Got an update popup. 3.6.4 build 588 is final and available on https://www.hitmanpro.com/alert.aspx

Now I wonder whether I should reboot and run this... (it's bit-wise identical to the RC that gave so many problems on my system)

It's the same thing. Does not offer to upgrade when I download and click the .exe from surfright.nl with RC588 running. Just reopens RC588 to foreground.
