I've been using Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE) for browser protection for a while. Is ZMS aiming at equaling MBAE's capabilities?

$5 more expensive than ESET Mobile Security Premium.
I like Zemana products, but they need to learn their place in the industry as it stands.

 

Good point. I've used ESET for 2 years and Zemana for 1 and they aren't even in the same league.
Additionally, ESET is highly polished; Zemana, not so much (beta tester feedback being treated as a support request may have something to do with that).

Also I hope your developers are continuing to work on adding web surfing protection?, I like Zemana products and use them but I'm looking elsewhere for this type coverage and uninstalling ZMS soon.

ZMS works fine for me. Surfing protection? I use MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE). MBAE & HitmanPro Alert are far ahead of any other Security app offering surfing protection (IMO). I am, at best, ambivalent about do-everything security suites. Why? For the same reason I wouldn't want a shovel with built in radio, GPS, & ice cream scoop.

 

I think there are no mobile versions of MBAE and HMPA. So I am not sure how you are comparing them to ZMS.

 

Nothing for mobile phones Not that I'm aware of.

Nice I have yet to try it. I currently do not run an AV on my Android device.

 

Can Zemana Mobile Security be run alongside another product such as Dr. Web Antivirus Lite or is that asking for problems?

 

I would say it would be just fine, I have it along side Kaspersky with real time protection turned on.

 

Appreciate the reply. Normally the advice is not to run two in real-time to avoid conflicts which is what prompted me to post the question. Hopefully we'll get some additional points of view on the topic.

Does having Zemana installed on your Android device cause any wakelocks and battery issues? Just curious.

Batt seems good no issues, on occasion I'll loose my key pad when I'm texting but a restart brings it back not sure what's causing it but I assume it's zemana I may contact support see what they say, but on average I don't even know its installed.
