Process Lasso Releases

The graphical slider can be seen in CPU Balance with "ProBalance Insights", and it can be seen in Process Lasso too.

Launch "c:\Program Files\Process Lasso\Insights.exe" and you have access to the slider.
Edit: It is also reachable wthin Process Lasso - "View: Open ProBalance Insights ..." (this is launching the above mentioned executable)
Edit 2: Or click on the Insights-button (above the Actions-log)

Yep. I'm new to PL beta testing but is it normal to have so many versions released in a day?

 

The functionality is the same. The only difference is the slider, which as @mood points out, is also already part of PL due to Insights. You can click Insights from within PL to see the Governor Response Rate slider.

 

It's my first time too to have rapid beta build releases. But I'm not surprised as the dev is fond of frequent releases. He even wrote a blogpost about his way of updates.

As expected, a new beta is out: .231 beta
I noticed a bug in the previous beta: I have selected "show only Process Lasso icon", but after each start the setting was changed.
But it seems to be fixed now.

 

PL has updated to .233 beta.

 

Do all of you get the nag screen when ever the program starts up and you have to wait x seconds?

I don't like the tray icon colour change when PL is limiting processes now. Brown?!

+1, and agree with you on the new tray icon brown colour when limiting ... wasn't it yellow before? Preferred that.

 

I could be wrong but I think it went from yellow to orange and now brown.

Suggestion / Feature Request:
* Allow the user to customize the color of the tray-icon when limiting.

 

.237 beta build has been released, although the main site and the updater would say .235.

And I think one of the components of the current updater isn't digitally signed because it's blocked by AppGuard in Protected Mode.

 

Well that was interesting! I just had Avast pop up and say the file "may contain something bad", then after a few seconds another pop up said, "Sorry about that".
