    I'm not using neither one.
I'm using EFF's Privacy Badger and Disconnect ..

Are those two your only add-ons? I have multi-process enabled (32 bit Firefox, dom.ipc.processCount = 8 ) and use uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere, LastPass and a number of other add-ons and don't experience any slowdowns. Performance is as good and maybe better than with e10s disabled.

In Firefox it just adds an icon next to each entry in the installed Add-ons list saying compatible or not compatible.

Edit: Actually the Compatibility Reporter adds its own icon on the top right near the settings "hamburger".

Tried it in Firefox and it did not do that on my machine. I suspect one of my add-ons blocks it.

It works fine in Cyberfox here, both in the Addons list and it's own window.(It places it's own button in the GUI.)
    EDIT:

I'm not sure what the criteria are for being listed as compatible, maybe it's just something the addon reports itself, so the dev has to add it explicitly even if the addon is already compatible.
I rather wait for the developers to update their addons, the fact that there are no crashes and the addon appears to be working normally does not mean all it's underlying functionality is working 100%. For example I read somewhere that Self-Destructing Cookies could only delete stuff from the current Tab in e10s mode.

Thanks for the pointing out the icon that opens the Compatibility Reporter UI; I didn't see that.

Ya think Firefox 52.0.2 is phased release?
my 52.0.1 Check for updates = Firefox is up to date
    I've downloaded 52.0.2.
waiting to see how long my 52.0.1 is reported as "up to date".

bjm_, normal releases are usually phased in at 25% update rate initially, then 3 days later, 100% enabled.

Mozilla could be following the same pattern for dot releases. Haven't seen the 53.0b7.exe "officially" released yet (due yesterday), so I'm assuming it's because of the dot release.

Okay, always updated on day one so, odd\interesting for me to be phased.
    Thanks!

    Good to know.
I changed the setting in Firefox & CyberFox to let them show the URL in its unencoded form.

Or simply check the certificate, then again, nobody does that, not even me and it is actually recommended, especially connecting via WiFi.
