I tried it 6 months or so ago, it was useful for offering older drivers than those that were already installed on my system.

Be carefull to look for checked boxes on the installer or you are likely to also install Advanced SystemCare (free version) or another iObit program. iObit always does that.

Maybe its different on the Pro products. I just updated to the latest free version of the iObit Uninstaller last week and it installed ASC with it. I had overlooked the checkmark, which was easy to do.

glad i have my (cheaper) Revo license.

IObit is know as an adware spreader.
btw the key from 6.0.2 (9910E-...) is still valid - use google - or for "11952-..."

    the UI is still awfull

Tip Re: Buying a Pro Version of an iObit Product.

First install the free version --- uninstall the free version -- upon uninstalling, your browser will open an iObit page offering you a deeply discounted price for the paid version,or an additional iObit program and the Pro version of the free version you uninstalled for the same discounted price = 2 for one deal.

In my opinion IObit Uninstaller is far superior to Revo. Revo takes nearly a minute on my laptop to finish loading the list of installed software, and it does not have batch uninstalls or the ability to scan for leftovers after rebooting. Not that Revo is a bad product, I just prefer IObit. These days, where possible I use Comodo Programs Manager, so I can be sure I remove all leftovers.

Thanks Roger so you believe IObit does a better overall job at a total removal then revo does?

It's been quite some time since I've tested them both to see how well they do at removing the same software. The last time I tested them, Revo usually did better (but not siginificantly so), with IObit sometimes finding more leftovers. Since then there have have been several major updates to IObit Uninstaller which have amongst other changes have improved the search for leftovers, so there's probably less difference between them now.

What really stands out about IObut Uninstaller is that it can search for leftovers after a reboot.

Left over files seems to be your cry about revo but that also shows that you do not know how to use it properly because revo pro has a tool which can be used to install all programs called trace which if the pc is rebooted or not removes everything to do with the said file being uninstalled, next stop telling forum members that revo does not have a batch uninstaller because it has, this is the second time i caught you saying that and it is false, please read the owners manual before you slander the product.

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_uninstall_features.html

    Quick\Multiple Uninstall

Another way to uninstall a program with Revo Uninstaller Pro or few programs at once is to use the Quick Uninstall command. The sequence of actions is similar to the regular Uninstall command of Revo Uninstaller Pro, but when it comes to the step where you have to review and delete the leftovers, the Quick Uninstall operation deletes the leftovers automatically reporting to you the number of deleted leftovers; and in case you have selected more than one program for uninstall, automatically starts the uninstall of the next selected program

I do know how to use it. I've been using it since the very first version. Yes, with the Pro version of Revo, if you get it to monitor an install, it can remove all traces of a program after a reboot. However, it can only do this for programs which it has monitored the install for. You can't monitor installs with IObit, but this does'nt worry me, as I use Comodo Programs Manager for this, and it is far superior to Revo or IObit on my opinion.
I had forgotten about this. Yes, it does have a batch uninstaller, but it really limited, and could cause issues, as per the following:
I would never let any uninstaller delete anything without manually reviewing what it wants to delete first, as uninstaller software sometimes will want to delete files or registry keys belonging to other software, which is never a good thing to do. While I don't use Revo anymore, when I did use it, it was fairly common for it to have issues with false positives, when using the Advanced scanning mode (I never used Safe or Moderate, I didn't see the point). It is extremely rare for IObit Uninstaller to have issues wtih false positives. But, just a few days ago, after I ununstalled a program, it mistakenly identified some files beloinging to another program as being leftovers. So, with Revo or any other uninstaller, it would be foolish to let them automatically delete any leftovers found.

Another shortcoming problem with the quick uninstall in Revo is that it can't scan for leftovers after a reboot. The ability to scan for leftovers after a reboot and contintuing to uninstall any remaining programs, comes in handy at times.
I've got better things to do then read the manual of a product I don't use, and like I said I had forgotten about the batch uninstall function since I never use Revo. I'd hardly call it slander. I even said "Not that Revo is a bad product, I just prefer IObit."

I take it a step further, by testing applications/updates and upgrades in a virtual machine before they ever are installed on any of my systems. If I do remove an application from my system, I prefer to do it manually as most of these so called uninstallers still leave crap behind.

That's fine it works for you but for the rest of people that don't 'know" they rely on a uninstaller do to the best job at removal. Not everyone has the time to search files and delete.

What is your thoughts on Crapcleaners uninstaller?

Your file explorer and registry editor both have "search functions" that expedite the process, of course it helps to know enough to know what to delete and what not to.

This is also true of uninstallers, when an average user is facing the file tree, how will they know which files to select or not for uninstall.

Average users that do not know enough to make the correct decisions should stick to using add/remove programs of windows and maybe Cleaner after. Those that know enough to use these uninstallers should also be capable of cleaning up manually.
