    Thnx for review.
It's good to have another option for those that decide to switch to Linux.

True to an extent, but Master PDF is very good and a solid replacement for Acrobat on the linux platform https://code-industry.net/masterpdfeditor/

It has OCR and text editing which many of the linux PDF suits are missing and the software as a whole is quite powerful and easy to use.

    Regards

According to Distrowatch, Mint 18.1 released with Qt 4.8.7. I don't know if that gets updated or not.

Just install the tar file to get latest version if you don't have qt5.
    qtchooser -list-versions

I was inspired by Mark's review and wanted to try Office online on Ubuntu 16.04.2. Unfortunately, it appears this Ubuntu release does not even work correctly. First it rendered my laptop unbootable upon the first restart after it said installation was complete. I thought maybe it's because I used customized partitions (only EFI and / partitions) so I used "erase everything and install" option. This time the installation of the OS on HDD worked, but it could not find my WIFI even though the WIFI worked fine in "trial" mode when booted directly from USB. What a stupid release after so many delays.
I am utterly disappointed at the usability of Ubuntu, and other Linux distros I tried before. Windows 10 never had such kind of low-level bugs in their stable release. Looks like it's time for me to go back to Windows 10 and Office 16.

I know what you mean... I recently tried installing the 16.04.2 release and it wouldn't even recognize my video hardware, something that had never happened before. Ridiculous...
