I asked the mods about the first defense forum here and their reply was something like people still use it so they will keep it up.
Interestingly, trojans are a backbone of pretty much every infection. I guess, an all-in-one name - malware - is easier to understand. People prefer a product, which protects them from everything, not just from a specific threat. This sub-forum certainly seems redundant now, with only a few postings in the past year, and could even be regarded as a dead parrot ,except perhaps for reference purposes.
Once upon a time maybe. It should attract and draw in a steady flow of useful traffic IMO after it's renamed to something more relevant to mix things up over?
