I used the "upgrade" link and just entred my email address. Macrium then sent me an email with my upgrade options, which in my case was a free upgrade from v6 to v7.

They replied with nothing more than a link to the upgrade page. I just sent a (kind of) nasty reply. There is no reason they should not be able to simply provide v7 keys upon request to those who are eligible for free upgrades from v6 to v7.

Macrium stated in their "v7 Coming Soon" bulletin that the "Continuous Incremental" would be available "shortly after release." The new driver needed to support that function does get installed with v7.

You should see it pretty soon... as soon as all these upgrade issues have been dealt with.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait another day to use my v7 keys. Macrium is not responding.

also i had to have all of my v6 lic keys. when starting up macrium and entering in the v7 i then had to enter a v6 lic key. once you do this the v7 key works by itself the next time without the need of the v6 lic keys

I got another offer to buy upgrade to v.7 although I purchased upgrade from v5. to v.6 after 26th of November. I hope that this is only a mistake.
I will give them a week or two to sort this out and then contact their sales.

I got this too and thought it meant I would have to purchase with no discount. But there is a link in the email, which takes you to the page for purchasing upgrades, and this is cheaper. I also used the coupon code listed earlier to knock a few extra £ off.

I am going to just keep the codes safe and stay with v6 for a bit longer, at least until the reported bugs have been fixed.

i honestly dont see any improvements in v7...
speed of incrementals is about the same.. (this CBT was supposed to make is lots quicker) - it was already quick.. still quick.

boot media doesn't always load hangs on preparing pe.... i press esc then it loads.. again nothing obvious new.

    gui is identical.
i think this should of been a 6.5 release tbh

I am surprised that they never did respond to my email about not being able to upgrade with the keys to V7 I just bought! I would have expected more from them.

The main impact CBT will have is if you do hourly incrementals. On daily's or longer time frame the effect will be diminished.

As was mentioned a while back in the thread, the 1st INC after a System restart requires the normal "Looking for changes" type of INC... each one after that (prior to another System reSTART) uses the CBT tracking (no looking for changes) and immediately images a smaller difference set (I have seen about 33% less in size with CBT images, sometimes even more if you're dealing with small file changes vs large file changes).

Well, I have not gotten any response from Macrium, but it now works.
One minor thing is that I created my rescue media with PE10 which was the default as I have 64 bit Win 10 Pro. All is OK and it boots just fine. I do notice that a verify that takes 3 minutes from Windows takes 7 with the rescue media. The only issue I see is that when I am in windows and start Reflect 7 it says that I have not built my pe5 rescue media yet. I will tell it to stop asking but why is it doing this? Why does it remind me I have not built pe5 based rescue media yet when it wants pe10 that I did create? I may add this to the Macrium V7 forum.

I used the change key, etc from my V6 install. This time when I added a V7 key the V6 key was populated already. That did not happen yesterday.

I just tried an update to my V7 and got a FULL 57MB update to Build 2001 just released. It is to fix the Time issue and more.

I got the same message about my v6 key being invalid. Upon closer inspection i noticed that there was extra spaces at the beginning of the key i pasted. I removed them and tried again and vola...it accepted my key. Perhaps for some of you the copy and paste function is adding spaces as well. Try removing them (make sure none were added at the end of key as well). Thought i'd mention what worked for me. Cheers
