Just performed a quick scan. 12919 files scanned in 1 hour and 33 minutes. Seems a bit slow to me. Will it get faster after a few scans? Do you build some local cache? Thanks, François P.S. Translated about a page during the week-end.
Thanks any way you can make it so that when you are i n settings you only have to enter password once , instead of having to enter password every time you go from settings to history or manage and back to settings . When making changes and checking things had to enter password 5 times in 3 minutes , gets a bit frustrating
Xvirus Anti-Malware 7.0.2 - download Changelog: Improved initial scan; Updated German and Dutch translations; Scan complete alert now only shows if the main window is closed; Fixed infinite scrolling alerts; Bugs fixed.
Second time this time another computer , first got trashed after this showed up , haackertool was found by Xvirus on boot , then desktop and settings vanished on computer , on second computer this popped up , on booting up again and asked to delete or quarantine , but another prog blocked Xvirus from running and stopped before any dammage was done , like on first computer . Don't know how both computes have this "infection " when no other virus scanner including win defender offline , Emsisoft , Bitdefender and trendnet housecall could find this on any of my computers . A bit worrying as not sure what trashed the first computer , lucky I make backups often so no data was lost Not sure what to think , problem with Xvirus , or problems on my end ?
It might be a false positive by Xvirus. If you ware sure it is safe just allow it and it will be added to whitelist.
might be , trouble is I can not find the file hacktool is a reference to anywhere on my drive, not sure what it is allowing . It found something else , but I was not quick enough to catch it while it scrolled up and away from sight ,cannot find a reference to it in quarantine either . I bought a few licenses , now not sure , guess I'll wait until it matures a bit before installing again . Would like to install as a backup scanner on mine and customers computers , but not yet don't think
About the scrolling up indefinitely bug, It is fixed on the latest version. What you could try is on install, uncheck the initial scan so he whitelists every running program.
Xvirus Anti-Malware 7.0.3 - download Changelog: Added Swedish translation; Updated Korean and Serbian translation; Improved Quarantine Tab load; Fixed a bug that would prevent the System Guard from working; Fixed a bug that would reset some settings to default in some languages; Minor bugs fixed.
Xvirus Anti-Malware 7.0.4 - download Changelog: Updated Korean and French translation; Minor bugs fixed.
Always do get a fault message while using it, exception handling of some sort, since v.7.2. And W.defender has it classed as severe trojan threat.
Always do get the above mentoined faulty message and some sort of "system" faulty message from the program. If that means it is working to some degree or not at all i do not know but unsecure function is a fact. Unreliable for me at least. Tested and uninstalled for the third time.
As i mentioned in my post i uninstalled so i do not have anything Xvirus related left on my Pc. The messages comes after c:a 1 hour of use without any special action done before from me or the program itself.
