I didn't think that was worth mentioning, its pretty standard on all these types of offers, probably offers no technical support o_O

  5. The Aomei Backerupper Pro giveawayoftheday has expired but is the one that was available
Thanks for posting this download; is this the same software that was available as giveawayoftheday which has now expired do you know; so the key should still be valid for use? I use Aomei backerupper free and it's by far the easiest solution to use for someone who is not an extremely advanced or experienced user; it's main feature that made me choose it is that it doesn't have a confusing list of options to wade through to get it to do what you need; it just works with a very clear and simple set of options that are straight forward and easy to use; my second choice was Macrium Reflect but I found it slightly too confusing and seemed to me to have a steeper learning curve but most likely this is because it can offer advanced options that are what a professional and more experienced user might prefer

    Hello,

I have Aomei Backupper 4.0.2 license...2 giveaways license from recent giveaways.

I had activated both the license as per the giveaways rules i.e before giveaways end.

After giveaways ended, I tried couple times And license worked fine.

Today both the license are invalid as per Aomei Backupper.

I tried on the same system on which license were activated previously.

Do Aomei Backupper giveaways license have certain activation period after which the license will not activate?

Any info or any of you too faced the same issue?

    Thank You

  7. Hey Yash; you know what; after reading that you experienced a hitch; I'm just going to stick with the free version as I know I can get updates and that I don't need to worry about it not working in future; I just am one of those people who like to have only things that I can rely on without having to worry that at some point in the future it may or may not work or might need an update etc etc; to be fair as I know use the free version I was thinking about buying the paid version anyway; and ultimately these guys need to earn a living like the rest of us so will probably buy it

When I took advantage of a giveaway, they had an option to upgrade them to permenent upgradeable licenses for something like $15. I've installed and uninstalled several times with no issues.

  9. So by using the giveaway you got a reduced price? That sounds like a good idea; I notice the actual price is close to $50; I think that's the reason I didn't buy it originally; here in the UK $50 is not far of £50 now that our currency has devalued so much due to "Brexit"; so $15 seems like a good deal; I've downloaded the software from the net-load link so it wouldn't hurt to just install it and see if I can get that $15 deal :) Thanks for the tip Peter2150

Nice post, but the site mentioned isn't giving you official giveaways, they are taken from others, and these guys release kinda "cracked" versions of, for example "Giveaway Of The Day" giveaways, by copying the pre-registered
files into the package, and using registry patches etc. so they could be installed on any given time..

BITSDUJOUR has again Aomei Backupper PRO v4.0.2 as a giveaway !
The offer was just extended for another 24 hours !
If the online registration fails (like it did on me...)
do the offline activation, and get the offline registration code..
Then you can re-install the application anytime on the SAME computer, normal registration requires ONLINE activation, and it fails when this giveaway is over..

    GET IT HERE.

BTW,you can also get on BitsDuJour:
AOMEI Backupper Pro + Free Lifetime Upgrade (2 PCs) v4.0.2 at a 60% discount

That $20 deal isn't a bad one. I took advantage of a deal like that. Currently don't have it installed, but the license lets me reinstall anytime. Just not using it as it doesn't offer me the same advantages as what I am using.

Hmmmm, went ahead and PURCHASED a lifetime license. The email that I received from AOEMI stated that I must install it within the special offer time period. Again, THIS WAS FOR THE FULL PAID VERSION, not the freebie. Do I really need to install this thing now, or was this just another Chinese to English translation glitch?
    Thanks a ton,
    Acadia

Peter, thank you, but I only bought it for possible future use, have no intention to install anytime soon. But those AEOMI people should redo at least one of their website pages, [edit] SORRY from one of their emails. I still do not know for sure, from THEIR OWN WORDS, if I have to install it within the next few hours.

That does NOT count for a bought license, don't worry... It means the giveaway license.
They are accidentally mentioning it in the receipt you receive from BitsDuJour when you get your bought RETAIL key...
You can install it whenever. :)

This is an e-mail from Aomei's support for paid customers, that's why the e-mails are "censored" :p

Yes. But I bought an AppGuard lifetime license - I'm using it - and now the policy and the product are changed and there is an annual subscription: it disappointed me !

If you want future development that has to be paid for. If not customers, then who

Thanks for that Peter and Stode, about the timing for using the license. So, if I understand this correctly, I can install at anytime, the license is good forever, the program will always work. But for updates to keep the program current, I would have to pay, correct?

Sure, but I would see most appropriate - talking about AppGuard - to propose a new lifetime license than an annual subscription. ( sorry for the OT ).

Nope. I've been using upgraded versions and the license works fine.
