There seems to be a problem with the French translation. Can you please use English until it's fixed? Other translations should work.

No product will detect 100% of ransomware, not through static detection methods nor dynamic detection methods.

No he isn't. Xvirus Anti-Malware is a second opinion security product, it's not supposed to replace your primary protection. Vendors like Kaspersky and Bitdefender are for primary protection, not second-opinion.

Every vendor can do more work to improve, although he will never need to be on their level, that isn't the developers goal.

EAM is a primary protection replacement, it's not supposed to be second opinion like Xvirus Personal Guard.

You could SUD the samples to him through his samples e-mail/the website. It's a bit pathetic to bash around your results about how a product undetected a sample on a forum and then refuse to exchange the samples to help them afterwards... How is that supposed to help anyone?

No PM has come through from you yet, did you quote me by accident and mean you sent one to the developer?

@Xvirus as per my post would you consider displaying the names of the detected threats/PUPs?

Some detection already display the name. But for registry keys it is harder to implement at the moment. So I don't except to do it in the near future sorry.

Xvirus' server will be on maintenance for this weekend. The update system, cloud or website should not work for a few hours. Thank you.

After installation, it was using nearly 300MB.
Now after reboot, it uses about 100MB.
    Normal?

Is that a new build or the current bulld. Also not sure what you are asking. If you need a further test from me I'll be glad to just let me know the build.

Yes. 100mb is for the database and the program itself. If the program uses more than that it's because it is scanning some files which might require more ram usage, then it has to wait for garbage collector to "flush" the extra ram, so it's normal sometimes to see Xvirus dropping from 300mb to 100mb of ram, happens all the time in my host machine.

It's the current 7.0.1 build. If you test it again , try after letting it update and do the initial scan (if selected). Wait a while (30 seconds) to make sure everything is loaded correctly. I need to find out what is causing problems in your test and if other people have the same problem :/

Is it stuck or the program stops responding? Because some databases are bigger than others.

Is there a way to whitelist other programs? (Exclude them from Xvirus protection)
I excluded Xvirus from EAM but am looking to do the reciprocal.
