Removing a browser(name) when not installed anymore?

    A friend at BBR asked that one of the browser no longer installled
    still shows up in the list of them in the GUI..how do you remove that?

    It still shows up in Add/remove programs?
    You can use CCleaner to delete that entry if software is not installed any more.

    No shows up in the GUI of spyware blaster

    Hi,

    SpywareBlaster performs browser detection via several different methods (depending on the browser).

    A common cause of SpywareBlaster still detecting the presence of a browser after the browser has been uninstalled is if settings or browser profiles are left behind by the browser's uninstaller. (i.e. If it isn't cleanly uninstalled.)

    Browser profiles for most non-IE browsers can often be found under your user account's "AppData" folder. If you rename or remove the appropriate profile folder (see: Seamonkey profile documentation), it should clean things up.
