What about Safari? According to statistics it's second most used: https://www.netmarketshare.com/browser-market-share.aspx?qprid=1&qpcustomb=1
Thnx I voted for Chrome (on my Nexus) and Safari (on my iPhone). I don't use them much but they run quick with no problems. I've tried Firefox on Android but had some problems on some sites so I decided to stay with Chrome.
I voted for Chrome. I use my laptop for 12+ hours a day, and as such rarely browse the internet on my phone. For the occasions that I use it, Chrome works fine, although I hate browsing the internet on my phone. Because I use it so little, I could not bothered trying different browsers to see if there is a different browser that suits my needs better.
Was a toss up between Firefox and chrome. Choose Chrome as I used Avast security and it doesn't work with Avast at last time I checked.
I use Firefox on my Nexus 9 tablet all the time. I have tried Dolphin alongside it but reverted to just FF. I do get the occasional crash with FF but am prepared to accept that for the benefits of privacy, low memory usage and add-on flexibility that it provides.
Not all Mobile Browsers protect against phishing equally. For those who want to do a test, choose an old online link: https://www.phishtank.com/phish_search.php?verified=u&active=y
I've used a few on Android, including Maxthon, Dolphin, Opera inter alia, but Firefox is the browser I use 99% of the time now, predominantly because of uBlock Origin.
Firefox capture HTTPS websites phishing content. Chrome fails. Firefox Mobile Chrome Mobile _______________________________
On Android it's Firefox for me. It's fast, and above all: There is a vast number of add-ons available (like uBlock Origin, Self-Destructing Cookies etc.) which make Firefox more versatile, configurable and privacy-oriented than any other browser on Android.
I came to the conclusion that browsing via mobile phones is annoying as hell, and I now use apps for the most important sites.
