@VoodooShield Everything continues to run well with 3.51. :)

Just a couple of points regarding the logging. Good to see that the logging error has been corrected - no more [ERROR] - Not able to store the userlog.

I seem to recollect that you increased the logging a few months ago when you were trying to track down one of the bugs. Is this verbose logging is still necessary? It seems to log everything, including all the Windows utilities and now that we are on stable versions, I was wondering if this is still necessary. It may well be but I thought I would ask.

    Salutations/Greetings!

Never could uninstall Comodo Firewall Completely. To install and/or upgrade to newest version.
Tried just everything to remove. Would like to install with Voodoo!!!

    Hi Dan,

I am still being prompted to allow "conathst.exe" (Norton toolbar) when opening Firefox 64-bit from time to time. It doesn't happen every time but once allowed I should not be prompted again.

I've sent the logs via email.

    Thanks.

this may be a heretical idea, but I think that a list of trusted vendors, especially if it is customizable, would solve so many of these FPs.

Dan, tried this, even reinstalled VS and installed 3.51 fresh and STILL I am prompted for the Norton toolbar in FF 64-bit.

It looks like my only choice is to open Firefox (Chrome too) and reset the whitelist while my browsers are open. It worked with earlier versions so it might work with this one too.

If I have allowed an item, why keep asking me if I want to allow it again?

I am curious about this rar file bug as I don't see it. Is it with all zip files and what do I do to see it.

I have never open any file from inside Rar. Who is do like me, we are fully protected.

I always right click .. and select "Extract here" SO I do not care about this BUG.

You can do like me till Dan fix this OR Uncheck "Automatically allow parent process ...." from advanced sitting.

Ah that's why I've never seen it either. I almost always extract and run.

Using VS 3.51 here. I use Geforce Experience, and I tried to update my Nvidia driver and even in "Disable / Install Mode" VS was blocking the installation without any prompt or balloon. Everything was allowed in user log.

This has been an issue for me 'since forever'. Not sure why VS continually/ still fights with GeForce.

Had 378.49 installed, clean installed GFE, custom updated to 378.66 (clean install checked), no issues. I personally haven't had any issues with Nvidia updates in Disable / Install Mode.

    Edit: Windows 10

Yes, I updated the same versions.

Using Windows 10 AE here. My signature has a link to all my other security software.

I restored a clean image a couple days ago... Everything clean.

Here is the latest... I am not going to release it publicly yet, simply because every time I release versions too fast, companies that have a lot of endpoints get upset with me, which is understandable ;). So if you run this version, VS will ask you to update when it starts... but do not update unless you want to go back to the old version ;).

Anyway, there were a couple of bugs in the last version, and they should be fixed now. Please check the .zip / .rar / .etc compression tools... this should be fixed, but if not, please let me know. I thought it was fixed the first time, but I guess I did not test it well enough. The lag for items that used to not have a drive letter should be fixed as well.

This version is not super well tested, but there should not be any problems.

Please do not post pics or vids of me on here ;). I appreciate it and everything, but I would like to remain as anonymous as possible.

BTW, Alex is doing an amazing job... just wait and see ;).

I know I have a lot of posts, PM's and emails to catch up on... sorry about that, there are only 24 hours in a day ;). Thank you guys!

I didn't get this with the previous updated version, which I guess because that was through the VS auto updater So, I understand why. :) Anyway, I am running now, this v3.52. ;)

    You're welcome. :)
Waste of time. I don't think the developer cares. Just my impression.
