Some of us will lose our Lifetime licenses if we can't use the program.
    What a !#$^&^*&*&^%$ Mess.:(
Yes, I know some of you have no problems. Let's stop those comments because they don't help.

No one will loose it's lifetime licence, just pause to use MBAM in real time.
Needless to tell, that MBAM is running fine on my hobby-shack machine, see may signature.

I have had to uninstall it (3.06.1469) completely. Unfortunately it keeps hanging up when I try to switch on ransomware or web protection real-time protection. This worked when I first installed, but not now.

I am pondering living without Malwarebytes for the time being, at least until there is a proper acknowledgement from the company of the problems and a clear plan to sort them out. Most of the issues people are having over on the Malwarebytes forum are very similar. It doesn't seem that Malwarebytes is doing sufficient in-house testing on different PC configurations, as surely they would have observed some of these problems themselves by now.

I am hoping my use of Zemana Anti-logger, Windows Defender and Sandboxie is sufficient protection.

I spoke too soon - thought MBAM3 was working, but on booting up 1 pc this morning, web protection would not load and kept popping up messages. I had to stop MBAM and start it again - and finally after messing with it 10 minutes or so, it started working. Since this pc is used by my spouse, this is not acceptable. Am reverting to Version 2 again, until they REALLY get it fixed and working - or go to with something else. Grrr........

Update - now MBAE is not working on MY pc with MBAM 3 installed. So, I have reverted all 3 pc's back to MBAM 2, plus MBAE and MBAR. This is getting tiring. Thinking of abandoning Malwarebytes entirely - been with them so long, I really hate to do that, but there comes a point in time when one has to measure the pros and cons. :(

I suggest that my friends on Wilders test if Web Protection is working correctly. Already posted on MB's forum Malewarebytes v3.0>Web Protection Not Working. They cannot solve the problem yet.

I clean installed Windows 10 Pro and did not update or installed any other programs and changed no settings. Installed MB v3.0.6.1469. Went to iptest.malwarebytes.org to see if Web Protection would block the site from loading. Nope! Just as before, Sever not found and on the tab in Firefox, Problem loading page. More and more people are seeing that even though Web Protection is set to On in Dashboard, Systray and Settings>Protection, it does not work properly. Only when I go to http://52.21.84.70 does Web Protection initiate and blocks the page, but no other site.

What does not make sense, is that with v3.0.5, Web Protection works.

Otherwise, HOPEFULLY, Exploit, Malware and Ransomware modules are working properly.

Lots of other users are having different issues with MB 3. Version 3 was never RTM quality! At best, with latest version, RC1 maybe RC2.

    Good luck,
    Robert

Your link is wrong and possibly why MB is not blocking the IP address.

    iptest.malewarebytes.org should instead be iptest.malwarebytes.org.

Nope. Either way, same results. But thanks for the correction in spelling.

I've tested with both MBAM 2.2 and MB 3.0.6 using Edge and both block the Malwarebytes test page.

    https://iptest.malwarebytes.org works here.

I get page not found. then exited out of Adguard and Malwarbytes did block it. Just installed the new Adguard Beta so not sure if that is it but with Adguard enabled on my machine, Malwarbytes won't show a block but the page still won't load. I get below screen with Adguard enabled. I is a lot different from the other one from when Malwarbytes blocked it.

I'm getting exactly the same results as you...Only the resolved address ie 52.21.84.70 gets the mbam alert page, and ip-test.malwarebytes.org just returns a no connection page on Fx and IE...Apart from that all is well, in fact for the time being its my only active security software atm/

Imagine ALL the other users worldwide that are not even aware that Web Protection is not working properly...false sense of security! We are in the minority in regards to frequent the boards to make sure we are in the 'know'. Hard to imagine that the R & D department was not aware of this, but still released to the public v3.0.6. Like someone else posted on this forum, maybe pressure from Sales & Marketing. And we all know what preempted that releases.

They want users to download and install some software to collect information of our systems to isolate the commonality of the issue. I just clean installed Windows 10 and I do not want any software I do not use or want so MB can release a more refined product...I am not Beta testing what has already been released to the public AND with many updates since then. However, unknowingly, we all are. At the very least, the core modules should be operational (Malware, Exploit, Ransomware and Web Protection).

MB already came here to ask if board members would like to beta test v3; they know how good and willing members here are! Fine. Consensual partnership.

I'm all for making money, but at least have the respect and dignity to stand behind what you are offering! I'm not suggesting that MB did this with impropriety, but...

    Just my take,
    Robert

3.0.6 installed on my primary machine.
On my secondary machine: 'Unable to execute the file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted. Error 5: Access is denied.'
Looks like I'm not the only one, based on ghacks article above:
