Yes, I'm seeing that too. I wonder if Firefox processes will eventually be "untrusted" as they are in Chrome?

    Are we expecting 51.0.1?

FF updated on one of my machines but it says 50.1.0 is up to date on this machine.

Two of my machines aren't updating past 50.1 for some reason. I have downloaded the installer from JR's link but I'm hoping they update on their own.

FYI: Releases Scheduling. It's only 25% update release rate today, 100% by Friday.

Did you enable it through about:config or was it available in the UI options?

Didn't have to do anything. Checked about:support, and it read: Multiprocess windows 1/1 enabled by default. As I open a new tab, there is an extra firefox.exe process showing in the Task Manager. However, it must be still limited because, unless I'm mistaken, there should be an extra process for each opened tab? I only see one extra process, no matter how many tabs I have open. Need to read more on this!

I believe ( and someone please correct me if I'm wrong ) you can have 32 bit and 64 bit installed at the same time and they will share the profile. The only issue I saw with doing this on Windows 10 was I couldn't find a way to change the default between the two because Windows didn't see them as separate applications.

Some time ago i accidentially installed the 32bit-version instead of the 64bit-version and i could see the same extensions, same settings, etc. after starting the 32bit-version.
So the 32bit and 64bit-version are indeed sharing the same profile.

    dom.ipc.processCount

I set mine to 16, but you want to set it to whatever number equals the number of tabs you tend to keep open at any one time :thumb:

@Victek OK, I see why I have only one process:
For now, I'll keep it at default since I normally work with only 2 open tabs. Thanks for the info Victek!

I find on my laptop that the 64 bit is much slower than 32 bit. Probably because it uses over 550 MB of RAM with 1 tab open. The 32 bit is using about 330.
