What happened to the search bar? All I see now using Cyberfox is a thin line. I also cannot create a new thread because I can't add a title / subject. I had to open Chrome to post this. Is anyone else seeing this, or is it just me? Thanks.
No sooner had I posted and logged out the search bar returned to normal. That's happened a few times now.
When I encounter such problems I disable one or both for the site, or try safe mode. It might be a filter that's causing them, or with safe mode, an add-on.
It isn't always like this, just the odd time. Here's another pretty picture with today's date. It seem more common of a morning my time for some reason.
Since it's intermittent I doubt this will help -- If you're using custom fonts, try allowing the site default to load instead. (Same with any style sheet customization.) Clear your caches after any change.
As soon as I posted above I closed Cyberfox and re-opened it and the 'bug' was gone. It's almost as if the browser isn't rendering the page properly, but it's not isolated to Cyberfox. I've seen it on Firefox and I've seen it on all three of my machines. I don't even know how to do that.
I have my browsers set to "Always use private browsing mode"' so it should be cleared each time I close them.
Well, it looks like it isn't this site at all because when I seen this site had the issue this morning I noticed at the same time another site not displaying properly. After closing Cyberfox and re-opening to this and the other site both displayed as they should. Must be an extension I'm using, or combination of extensions. Anyway, it is only a minor annoyance that I guess I can live with. Thanks all for your support. Cheers!
Are you using the same extensions in Firefox and Cyberfox? The problem appears in Cyberfox and Firefox, it can be one of your extensions which is causing the problem.
If the bug appears again, have a look at the Developer console/Web Console. Maybe you'll see the name of an extension or some other "hints" which may help (or not) "Extension (...) prevented to load ..." / "Refused to load ..." / "Couldn't load script ..."
I just thought I'd post that I haven't seen this 'bug' for a few weeks now. Maybe whatever caused it has been resolved? Cheers.
