    Hi Dan

Without further a do...a Happy New Year to you...ahead of time in caase you decide to take some well earned rest over the New Year period...;)

Looks like I am a little late to the feast...so will pitch in straight away...3.50 installed on both 64 & 32bit systems (did a complete uninstall/clean install a la TripleHelix...:D) and am pleased to say that everything appears, initially, to be working fine...even in the case of Opera (I run the portable version if that is of any help).

Will continue with the testing over the weekend and report back if I come across anything untoward...which I very much doubt (even the CPU usage seems good, low & stable here).

    Regards, Baldrick

When we click on false positive in the pop-up do you get and use this feedback?
Maybe it would be a good idea to implement a file rating system so if 90% of the users allowed as a FP a file detected by Voodoo AI, you can whitelist this file in the cloud, improve voodoo AI an the users will see in the pop-up the file rating as well.

In any case I hope you can implement soon all the improvements that have been discussed here during the lasts months

what is happening to VS server? 1 hour ago, everything was working perfectly but now it cannot connect to the server. All other apps are connecting normally except VS. All the ports and connections are allowed in my firewall

The sys driver wouldn't remove with both 350 installations so I deleted it manually. I did notice a discrepancy in the dates, see screenshots. The sandbox and allow boxes show up now.:)

    Hi Dan,
Upgraded to VS 3.50 this morning (clean install) and since then I've had lengthy delays when opening programmes such as Event viewer and task manager. Something is causing my PC to drag it's feet quite severely.
I exited VS and everything was back to normal and my programmes were opening lightning fast. This has never happened before 3.50 and I have not installed any other programmes, so VS isn't playing well presently.
Is VS analysing already allowed programmes, windows critical processes and whitelisted files and causing them to be slow on opening ?
    Running in Smart mode.

    HI Dan

Upgraded to the latest 3.5 this morning on one machine. So far so good. Won't be able to do the other until later today.

Updated to 350 today over 348 and all seems to be working well. I have scanned several of my exe files with VS and Ai 2.0 looks very solid.

I still have the "Not remember allowed files, Pandas files are still getting blocked when they activate for whatever they are doing, updates and what not?

EDIT! On the OLD 3.50, trying the NEW one now.

Made a clean install of 3.50 after completely remove all previous edition VS files with GEEK uninstaller.
Still VS flags and block Panda AV files like this one: c:\programdata\panda security\panda devices agent\downloads...
Note that my others apps on demand scans give all those files a clean bill, while VS Ai gives, most of them, 2/57 on the blacklist and recommend to block.
I decided to allow the recommended to be blocked and I'm keeping a watch and see if once whitelisted they will get blocked again, and report.

I have continuously been prompted for the Norton toolbar in Firefox, even after allowing the false positive, so I did a trick I've read in this thread a while ago and left FF open and reset the whitelist. That seem to have done the trick but if it happens again I'll post back.

    Thanks.

I am back in business, and after uninstalling Opera and a fresh reinstall, no more problem with Surface Book overheating from CPU access problem and VS.

    Hi Dan,

It looks like you fixed the Switch User problem by not showing the VS icon in the 2nd account one switches to. Is VS still working in that second account? I may add that the Switch User feature is going to be used quite frequently in single computer households. And in my case, where I toggle between the admin account and standard user account.

I've just renewed my subscription to VS Pro for the third year in a row. I get a version expired notification for 3.47 so I download the current version from the VS website and install it - 3.48 and get the same version expired notification. So I visit this thread and download then install 3.50. I get this:

    VoodooShield Account.jpg

    and this:

    VoodooShield Internet Connection.jpg

I'm not getting the problem shown in the second screenshot for every file. Plugin-container.exe triggered the problem shown.

Plus previously whitelisted files are being blocked and rescanned at least once per file even though they were already in the whitelist.

Can you add an option to run the sandbox on demand via right click?

Thank you for letting me know... the expired issue is fixed, so VS should update properly now.

I think once VS is updated, your other issue should be resolved as well, but if not, please let me know, thank you!

    Greetings & Salutations!

3.50 is working flawless for me! Keep up the great work!

Question: Wondering if, I install CFW only (latest V10) with Voodoo Shield.
Do you think there would be any kind of a conflicts? CF10 would be for
    out going traffic.

Or would having Sandboxie better choice with less headache's?

    Voodoo Shield
    Windows Defender & Windows Firewall
Sandboxie (thinking about replacing with CFW only (latest V10)
    Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business.

    Your thoughts? Opinions?

I just reinstalled 3.50 and I still get the same problems. 3.47 worked okay but I got these internet connection problems with 3.48 and 3.50. Unfortunately I cannot use a version of VS that actually works properly as intended.

Whitelisted files are being blocked and scanned.

EDIT: I know that you mentioned changing the way that VS checks for an internet connection in 3.48 - is there something I need to check in Windows 7 to see if it is enabled?

Glad to hear! Do you have a link for CFW (latest V10) and also, a link on how to set it up for the best protection?
You can P.M. me and/or post here. Hopefully, know will get upset. I would like to try it out!

    Kind regards,
