Nags appear on Fridays and only if VS blocked a threat

    Mood thanks.

That's alright by me. Still is it really necessary with each computer restart? VS seems to have quite few false positive. There is no way to escape the constant Friday Nag screen if you reboot the computer several time a day for whatever reason.

I can also confirm copious logging, blocking of apps that were whitelisted under previous version and periodically delayed launch of UAC prompt involving those re-whitelisted apps. I'm kind of debating reverting to previous beta as this was actually a pleasure to use. Thanks.

    Here is 3.50!

There was a regional / language issues that was messing up VoodooAi, but it should be fixed now.

The memory leak and logging should be fixed as well.

Also, thank you Krusty for finding that USB bug… it should be fixed as well.

The only last bug that I am aware of is the one where people have posted that sometimes VS blocks something unexpectedly. I am hoping this is fixed now, but if it is not, please let me know what changes to VS’s default settings you have made… I think there is a chance there is a little bug in there somewhere. Either way, please give me as much information about this bug as possible so I can reproduce it.

Thanks again guys, I hope to catch up soon! We really need to wrap up 3.50 because 3.48 and all previous versions expire for everyone on January first!

Edit: Actually, please give me a little while, there was a bug in the region / language fix, I am working on it now.

I am not sure what you mean by false positives... if a web app is running, all new, non-whitelisted items are blocked (VS is a computer lock). Is that what you mean? Thank you!

VS is randomly blocking a PandaAV process. I did withelist it few time now, still it is randomly blocked at restart. Is this compromising the AV function?

This is the same issue that everyone is talking about... I think it had to do with a Regional / Language issue in 3.49... try 3.50 and see if it works. If not, I need more details.

Not sure, if this item is blocked after installing 3.50, please post exactly what it is blocking.

    This process is Blocked:
    c:\programdata\panda security\panda devices agent\downloads.

Just finished registering the pro version. I'll report if any changes.
    Thanks Dan.

Yeah, I just noticed that too, thank you...

The whole date / time thing confuses me... I am working on it now, it should not be long, thank you!

This time, a clean install of the 350 beta. Whitelisting is remembered, responsiveness is instant, things launch quickly, etc. So far, so good. Bye, v.349. :cautious:

Edit: I saw above, yes, only "block" is shown unless I whitelist whatever was blocked--in this case, an unsigned installer. I had to disable VS in order to run the blocked item.

    Forgive my tardiness.
Running 3.50, reboot twice since, PandaAv process mentioned on my post no longer blocked.

Hehehe, how funny ;)... ummm, I hate to tell you this, but there is a small region / language bug in that version... I will post a hopefully fixed version in a sec.

Hopefully after this, EVERYTHING will be completely fixed, if not, please let me know!

Hehehe, ok, you guys are really cracking me up now... I hope this version does not break the other version... even if it does, I know exactly what is up.

Either way, please try this version and let me know how it does, thank you guys! (Yeah, I realized it is called 3.50 too... I normally do not keep the same version, but in this case it made sense.)

So everyone knows... yeah, the above link is the correct VS 3.50, hopefully EVERYTHING is fixed, if not, please let me know. Sorry for the confusion ;). Oh the joys of software development, hehehe.

Sorry mate but just recieved a VS warning about the same process being blocked. Not at restart but during session. The funny thing is that the safe / unsafe bar is toward safe green. No option to allow provided , only Block.

My Surface Book is still cooking when running the latest VS 3.50 in Opera. Refer to recent posts about this problem, Dan. Sorry, for the trouble regarding this matter.
