Does VoodooShield works well with KIS? I was considering adding an extra layer of protection...

Dan sorry I not sent the files yet, my current feeling is tho that the alerts I got when manually running my snapshots were cosmetic breakage only, as I believe nothing is been blocked now, no hanging processes for a few days now since I last posted.

For some reason VS keeps being put in Training Mode on one machine when ever I shut the machine down. Next time I boot VS is in Training Mode again. I've uninstalled / reinstalled and thought that solved the issue but it's back again.

    Anyone else seeing this?

Hmmm, that is very odd. Can you please send me your logs? It should be super easy to fix, thank you for letting me know!

BTW, you could probably delete your settings.dat file in the c:\ProgramData\VoodooShield directory, but that would not get to the root of the problem, assuming there is a problem. I am guessing that you have a super old settings.dat file, and through all of the upgrades, it has become corrupt. But I will start to think of what other things it could be as well. Your log will probably tell me exactly what caused it. Thank you!

Yeah, I try ALL kinds of different things, and basically do "A-B testing"... I will go into a lot more details soon, but yeah, the goal is to have a really great training sample set, 300-400 features, and killer algorithms... oh, and also the ability to easily retrain the models every month or two. I am almost finished with all of these items ;). Thank you!

Hehehe, my bad ;). Yeah, I was overloading our database... we will not have that problem anymore... now we have a separate database for training data, thank you!

 If it happens again, sure. I've just tried the uninstall / reinstall trick using REVO Uninstaller Pro, so I don't have the logs now, sorry.

What's currently the most stable version of VS available? Is it the build on the VS website. I want to see what has changed. It's been a while since I have used it.

The latest version is 3.48 (beta), available from the VS website.

Here is what I do not understand, if you use VoodooShield ON option shouldn't VoodooShield fully protect against all FinSpy trojans and all others malwares and all of their modifications-since this is the way when you lock down your computer with VoodooShield-much like AppGuard?

I thought that VoodooShield ON feature (which, I think, is a Lockdown feature/mode) would fully protect against this or any other exploit/which means, VoodooShield will fully protect against all exploits (or, at least, VoodooShield will fully protect against all the exploits that are known).

    Hi Dan

Just to wish you a very Merry and (hopefully) Restful Xmas, and a Peaceful & Prosperous New Year (the year that VS goes GLOBAL) :thumb:

    Regards, Baldrick

PS. Nothing to report...VS is performing flawlessly on my systems as far as I am concerned. :D
