hi to use virtualbox or other software , via bios Intel virtualization VT-x must be enabled i read that enabled increase global performance , in the article they don't talk about virtual machine but general performance of w10 /8 and 7 is it true ? have you noticed some advantage ? or some benchmark with and without enabled thanks a lot
hi do you keep turn on or off? i know seems silly but i run a fast benchmark and i found out that enabled slow down performance about 6% thanks
Hi mantra, I always disable Virtualization technology in Bios, and i noticed the same thing like you, like disable EIST (when avalaible). Rules.
hi maybe other user can share it ? if they have notice a different in performance with Virtualization technology ON
I have it enabled, since I need to run x64 OS in Virtualbox. Can't remember if I noticed any slowdown when I first enabled it.
You need VT-X enabled to use virtual machines . There is no slowdown if you enable it. Most modern CPU's are fast enough to cope with the workload.
