@MisterX: Thanks, but are you sure this is the update? (This is the version I already downloaded; both version numbers and MD-5 hashes are identical)

Then I really don't know what update you are talking about, sorry. Thought this was the only one available. Btw where did you hear/read about an update?

Hi everyone, I'm finally off of my death bed. 48 hours of pure torture :)

I've responded to everyone that emailed or messaged me here. Please let me know if I haven't!

We've fixed 75+ bugs and reduced memory usage significantly already since the beta, thank you all for the feedback. More on all of this soon.

    Just to confirm.

I have a lifetime license for standalone version of MBAM 2 and a lifetime license for standalone MBAE. Will this translate to two lifetime licenses for MBAM 3?

MB3 has 4 real-time protection modules. If I disable one an orange triangle warns in the systray app icon. Could be possible to have the choice to disable those warnings per protection module?
Kind of annoying to see that triangle.

Btw Exploit protection and Ransomware protection modules take several seconds to turn off-on. Sort of a lag.

Looking forward to trying out version 3. At the moment I am using MBAM premium and MBAE free. Will the premium combined product allow custom shields to be added?

Can you and/or ZeroVulnLabs perhaps look into the anti-ransom test, and tell me why MBARW didn't perform too good? Also, what about the name change that I suggested? The name "Malwarebytes Endpoint Security" sounds a lot more catchy.

I'll be installing MBAM 3.x later today after Macrium Reflect completes its weekly image backup of my machine and I know that the anti-exploit component of MBAM 3.x is not compatible with HMP.A, but does anyone know if the anti-ransomware component is?

    Thanks.

For me the biggest issue was the slowness of the whole system.
Uninstalled and waiting for a newer build solving this issue.

    WARNING!!!!

ok using the new version and even the 2.0 version now , if I enable rootkit scan my whole systems crashes and reboots.
I can not even use the rootkit scan any longer. what gives? kinda getting tired of being a Guinea pig with paid versions.

I have HMP.A and Malwarebytes Premium 3.0 beta. I have seen no issues with compatibility with any of my security software. I have not had any crashes or noticed any system slow down.

In general and so far MB3 (3.0.2.1175) is performing very good in my system (Windows 8.1 x64). Even scanning for rootkits.

It's not letting me run Firefox, perhaps it doesn't like one of my extensions? I had to disable Anti-Heapspray so that it will run.
(Adblock Plus, NoScript, Video DownloadHelper, YouTube Video and Audio Downloader)
I also have a whole bunch of Firefox plugins.

    -Exploit Details-
    File: 0
    (No malicious items detected)

    Exploit: 1
    Malware.Exploit.Agent.Generic, , Blocked, [0], [-1],0.0.0

    -Exploit Data-
Affected Application: Mozilla Firefox (and add-ons)
    Protection Layer: Application Hardening
Protection Technique: Exploit blocked by Anti-HeapSpray Enforcement

I have it on two Win 7 systems. I did uncheck the anti exploit setting in MBAM 3.0 and everything is running smoothly with the limits of the needed fixes

They are not selling lifetime licenses, but if you beta test this version they will supply you with one I believe.

FYI Still scanning very fast for me with scan for rootkits off, threat scan, 388,000 objects in 1 minute 5 seconds. With scan for rootkits on it takes 4 minutes 32 seconds. Hyper scan takes 5 seconds.

I can't even get the mbam beta to install.

I put VS in Install Mode, right click the installer > Run as Admin' - nothing, except I now can't close Windows Explorer. It looks like I'll have to Restart Windows Explorer in Task Manager.

Edit: After Restarting Windows Explorer and closing VoodooShield it looks like the beta might install.
