First of all, you guys are amazing. To see this response from this community, and to see the number of installs and people willing to test a beta, it's just awesome. If you've got a 1 year key, email me and I'll get you switched to a lifetime while the beta is ongoing: mkleczynski at malwarebytes dot com."

ok does this mean if I install they beta being a lifetime owner, after the beta I will be a yearly sub? or that the current yearly will be given lifetime only while it is beta?

If you're already a lifetime owner, it didn't apply. But, if you are on a yearly plan, contact me and I'll convert you for life (if you're helping beta test, of course)

Some incompatibility with Webroot Internet Security. 100% disk usage which slowed computer to a crawl. It seemed like it happened when I open Google Chrome which has the Webroot extension enabled. I don't intend on using both at the same time. I just wanted to give it a try.

    Otherwise, nice!

    What Windows are you running?
I uninstalled WSA yesterday and installed the MBAM beta on Windows 7. Had some problems with the beta so I used Revo Pro to get a Clean install of MBAM. MBAM is working good now with a few minor bugs. Either tonight or tomorrow I'll install WSA again to see the compatibility with both running together.

I re did the threat scan. Time was with in a statistical variation. No threats or quarantine as I would have expected.

The moment I uninstalled Webroot disk usage dropped off.

I just loaded it in a different VM to see what it would do. Windows 7 with nothing but Office installed. It scanned over 372,000 object in just over 8 minutes. Not bad. I'll keep testing to see if I find any issues.

Webroot is probably monitoring Malwarebytes because it is not whitelisted in their cloud yet due to its beta status.

GUI shows Updates are not current. I click on the update button and it seems to check for an update for a second and that's it.

    Please see attached.

There are a few issues around updates that we are still working on that could cause you to see an "Updates not current' message in the dashboard

 Thanks for the warning. And I was thinking of trying the beta at some point too. My lifetime licences are for MBAM though.

Updated signatures and ran threat scan, but still my dashboard reports 'Updates are not current'. Anyone having the same problem ? Btw threat scan took less than 6 seconds to complete.

Too high (in red) it is, isn't it?

I know is a beta, yet I want to see whenever possible, to right-click on a false positive then "Add to exclusions list".

No update issue here, scan times are fast, my premium subscription still never expires. Happy camper here.

The status screen in the GUI gets confused. I first showed Not updated, so I clicked update. Next thing it showed was subscription expires in one day. I went to the account page and it correctly showed I was protected for 229 days. Went back to the home page and now it showed everything to date

Anyone tested it with KIS yet? I see a lot of overlapping modules and just turned off all real-time protection until I'm sure there is no conflict.
