ummmm...you have a fingerprint reader, HMPA analyze your thumbprint , and if it deems your fingerprint was compromised, it uses CPU-based empowerment code to overcharge the reader's voltage to burn your finger and tell you go to hospital get new fingerprints implants :p

HMPA 572 + Firefox 50 + Sandboxie 5.14 with Win10 AU is working ok for me.

FWIW Firefox 50 64 bit works fine here in Sandboxie 5.15.4 beta on Win 10 Pro x64 v1511 OS build 10585.679 with HMPA 3.6.0 build 572 beta (plus other softs on primary laptop - see signature).
It seems @deinu actually uses W10 Home but with same OS build as mine; could be that, but culprit more likely be Bitdefender AV 2017, else ExpressVPN?

use Process Explorer/Hacker on Admin Mode > right click Excel.exe > Properties > go to "Handles" and "modules" , you will see what is injected into Excel process and may cause conflicts with HMPA. then once found , you have to exclude the injecting process from HMPA (Exploit Mitigations > Applications > scroll to far right > Exclusions > add the process)

    @deinu

    From Sandboxie-forum: Antivirus/Anti-malware|SBIE v5+[working/not][Updated 8/2]

    NOT Currently Supported
Kaspersky Internet 2015/16 (Windows 10, and 8/8.1 as well) (Must be removed for SBIE to function correctly) [On Win 7/8.1 that have SBIE excluded in KIS 2015, users have had some success ]
Bitdefender (Total Security, Internet Security 2016) [SBIE Error2224 SBIEDComLaunch.exe has crashed][Win10]
Some Zemana on demand products may cause errors.
Norton Security 2015/15 [See below for related Norton/Symantec products]
    Dr.Web Katana
*HitManPro may cause this error when using Chrome:
SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_0000000x - chrome.exe errors, if so, disabling HMP solves the issue. viewtopic.php?f=55&t=22151&p=118267&hilit=hitman#p118267 [If Chrome appears to be working, you can just hide the message, but it will continue when SBIE starts.]

I am not going to take all this effort. Either HMPA works out of the box or not. That's it.

The reason i sent that screenshot was to let the team know that there is a problem that they need to fix. If they need any further information, i can provide that as well. But I won't do all this hard work for sure. This should not be expected from consumers.

indeed, but as a closed beta-tester im used to do all this. I cant live with something that hamper the normal usage of my system. ;)

Agreed, but as a beta tester, i gave my feedback that there is a problem. So that Sophos can correct it.

I usually test the software on my personal PC because I use HMPA in over 10 machines at our young startup. I don't want issues cropping up there when the software is out of beta.

Thanks. This is just Vista 32, but that is reassuring.
Now if only I can register HMP.A and transfer my 3rd license.

Using the beta on your personal machine, stable on the others, should avoid you issues and give time to adjust.

All well on my Windows 7 x64.
If any issue might show later, I will report, of course.

    Upgraded to 573, Win 10 Pro x64 v1511 build 10586.679.
EAM was turned off on reboot, but this may be unrelated. No problem on second reboot.
Thumbprint based suppression technology seems to working really well! :D

Just to report v3.6 b573 still causes my computer to restart on shutdown. I still believe it is related to my use of storage tiering with Win10, as after configuring that is when the problem started.
