Not sure about with Windows 10, but until recently Windows Defender was only free if your small business had less than 10 computers. While not free, Webroot can be had for $10/year for 3 computers (Check the Newegg thread), has a central console, and is pretty amazing in a small business setting.
if you speak for Windows Defender on windows 8 or 10? only "yes". i dont think free for business is good choice, no paid support some can rely on - and the free support was anytime awfull for all vendors. business can also mean windows in a business environment - maybe "pro retail" or better with bought support. my experience in "business av" is limited to eset business, but its features are outstanding.
