You are correct in the fact that W10 updates usually won't affect FlashBack... but to my knowledge, no W10 Anniversary testing has been done on the product.

As far as stability is concerned, you'll get tons of opinions here in the Forum. I only use v1 at the moment due to instability probs with v2 on some of the Systems I'm responsible for.

Ok, thank you for the info.

I have tried previously on Win 10 too i.e the build before anniversary & worked fine. And working fine on anniversary build too.

I will keep it & see how it goes.

Could someone please post a link to Flashback BUild 698. Macrium Reflect is my main go to backup program, but still play around with AX64/Flashback stuff.

    Hi Rainwalker

I do have it, but it would take some work to get it to you. And I would feel like I was going out to the garbage to find it for you. Frankly I feel like I am doing you a favor by not doing it.

Much as I have wanted it to work it is dead. Supposedly it is under development, but I know no one is working on it full time.

I think that everyone does not care anymore, but the official site of FLASHBACK has been down for several days.
Developers does not seem to notice. :doubt:

Probably a function of renewal dates

Maybe they are setting up a new site:

    Flashback.com is currently under construction.
If you have questions please contact the team
    Thank you.

I see it now says under construction. So all they need is a product, which also is under construction.

If you go to https://xeroweight.com/ , you get the "This Account has been suspended" message.
    So something is going on.

Yea, I think it's about time we accept that this software will never become what we were told it would become. So much promise very early on, then years of basically nothing.

I wish they would give us our money back. I think all they did was over promise and under deliver.

I agree with you about refunding the money but I doubt that will ever happen.

I see that they are still advertising the four copies deal on BitsDujour.

I remember an old post by Isso where he said that one reason why he transferrred the software to the guys from Down Under was that they had more experience in marketing than he did...

    Cheers

Yeah, but I am not sure that was a believable explanation. Besides if you go back and look at their Realcopy effort, they had no experience that showed, and there effort with Flashback was equally poor.

Actually, my understanding is that there was a patent infringement issue.
