Thanks for the link. I see that flash runs in a separate app container process.

Add a content blocker and, I think it can now be compared to chrome

You ain't joking. It seems like it has taken forever for HTML 5 to supplant it, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel, finally. :D

Yes correct, it should be quite secure. But usability is probably still a joke. Also, I still see that Edge is still quite often being patched, but I don't know if current security measures would be enough to mitigate exploits.

It is me or Windows doesn't like VB?

Installed nicely but crashed with a service_exception error - it blue screened on the virtual display.

    Linux has no such problem.

Thanks! :D I'm using this one now.

Also, a Microsoft tech support gave me this link which still works for 24 hours. Those guys are really helpful, they almost always solve my problems. Took me 2 minutes to get a link with them, though I don't know why they wouldn't just give me the Universal one in case I need to change language or edition. Great support anyways.

Capture 001.jpg go into device manager, select your cd/dvd/br drive, right click menu - properties, region tab, make sure it's set to correct region for austrailia (4) or whatever code your dvds need. if you have run out of the limited resets, there are registry patches/utils available (google it) to reset the count.

also check any settings in your player app that may override it.

Thanks but that doesn't work. I get a message saying, " Unable to update region settings. The drive reports that it requires media of the destination region (region 4) so please insert appropriate media and try again".

    Krusty13,

Win10 ver 1607. DVDs play fine in VLC (free). I'd check your Region settings (Control Panel).

Windows 10 operating like malware? Yeah, Microsoft has done everything but throw the kitchen sink at users to get them to upgrade. And they wonder in Redmond why I'm not buying their $119 copy of Windows 10 when I could have upgraded for free.

Not even an alpha and its buggy. Windows Insiders must like being Microsoft's guinea pigs.

Would turning off Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 have any consequences for other programs? A warning from Windows says: "Turning off Internet Explorer 11 might affect other Windows features and programs installed in your computer including default settings..." I use Chrome and might use Edge, turning IE 11 off might add to a lot of stuff I have disabled to improve performance...
