I custom install all Internet Security Suites and always try and run as lean as possible.

Windows firewall is fine for me but I have found that SpIDer Gate can be a little heavy and too sensitive. Your experience maybe different

Ive just installed security space and see what you mean with spidergate. It blocks registry workshop from updating and doesn't even pop anything up saying that its blocked it !! or given a reason. The only reason i found out it was that was by turning off spidergate.I could see the url blocked in logs but having no popup is a downer for me.

I joined up as I love the new Dr.11 installed on to Win 10 64bit OS upon reboot the native Windows 10 mail app and calendar fail to update. It took me days to figure out Dr.Web 11 caused this as, as soon as the program was removed all fine. No settings changed, I reinstalled it and the same happened, so tried on another laptop and the same occurred - both Win 10 b4bit OS, 42GB RAM, no other security software, Sandboxie installed, using Google Chrome browser. Any others had same issues. I'm a member on Malwaretips and no one could find anything much on Dr.Web 11?

    Salutations, Greetings!

Wondering, if you could use Comodo Firewall with Dr. Web Security Space 11 with-out conflicts on Windows 10?
Anybody know the answer, if you turn the firewall off in Dr. Web Security Space 11? Would the Comodo Firewall work? Without a headache!

    Kind regards,

    Salutations, Greeting!

Install Dr.Web Security Space # 11 today! Working great! Nice detection of PUP's, unwanted software infections, ect...
Cleaning ability is outstanding! Found a lot of thing that got by Sandboxie, Malwarebtyes and Zemana AntiMalware and
    which those guys miss!

Price wise, just download Dr. Web CureIt and you will get a pop up for additionally 30% to 50% off of the normal price.

4 PC's for about $31.00 for a year. It is a keeper for me.;)

Also, include a lic., key for your mobile phone!

Paranoid mode in Dr.Web Security Space # 11 does and outstanding job.

    Dr.Web Android Read about below:

    "August 20, 2014

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web for Android and Dr.Web for Android Light to versions 9.01.4 and 7.00.14, respectively. The main innovation delivered with this update is a feature that enables users to unlock a device that has been rendered non-operational by locking ransomware. Currently, no other anti-virus products on the market offer this feature. In addition, the update provides other upgrades and fixes for known defects.

The unlock feature for neutralizing handheld lockers, which prohibit users from performing any action with their devices, has been incorporated into the commercial and free version of Dr.Web for Android. It is sufficient to start charging the device and shake it vigorously for all non-system processes to terminate their work. Thus, Dr.Web is even able to deal with blockers not found in its virus database. To date, Dr.Web for Android is the only anti-virus that can free a device that has been locked—even if the whole screen, including the notification bar, has been locked.

In addition, routines for neutralizing threats found in a device's memory have been upgraded."

    Link taken from
The unlock feature and other improvements in Dr.Web 9.01.4 for Android and Dr.Web 7.00.14 for Android Light

    Dr. Web Security Space
    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    Zemana AntiMalware

    2. No problems for me with the above combination.
Thinking about installing Hitman Pro Alert
    hopefully no conflicts/problems.

If 2 go okay, I will try Sandboxie! Step by step!
Or just sandboxie with the above combination.

I tried it for one day and switched back to my Norton (to finish my subscription).

What I really like in Dr. Web is their installer:
    • All-in-1 offline installer (which allows me to download it using custom downloading tool with proxy)
    • Options to choose components (so, download the installer and choose File Guard only, you get real-time protection and HIPS; or even uncheck everything you can, you still get the HIPS)
And my stereotype about the protection from reading other forums (yeah, NOT from my own experience):
    • Mid-range or (sometimes) low detection rate
    • Good self protection, good anti-ransomware ability
    • Good at killing pups, while not killing cracks all the time (well, for someone I see, that's the reason of their switching from Norton to Dr. Web)
    • Good community relationship

Hmm... That's right, but... IMHO, there are no reasons to set Preventive Protection level to Paranoid. If your software/hardware are stable and remain unchanged, you could set all Preventive Protection's options to Block, except Drivers loading System services (Allow both). That's all.
If any problems occur during installation of important MS updates or smth. similar, temporarily disable Preventive Protection.
