I am using right now on my Windows 10 laptop:

    Standard user account
    Windows Defender
    Windows Firewall behind router
    EMET
    KeePass password manager
    Google DNS
Google Chrome with uBlock and WOT

What else could be added according to your recommendations?

What are you protecting your computer from, Borg quantum ransomware?

G Data, Malwarebytes Premium, HitmanPro.Alert, and maybe Sandboxie. The rest of that software in the first list is unnecessary.

I'm now using Asampoo Anti-Virus 2016, and am very happy with it so far.

My real-time protection on Windows 10 64bit: IObit Malware Fighter 4 Pro.

I have UAC at max and use Windows Defender's period scanning. I rarely run into malware (even though I do unsafe browsing) so I don't need an anti-exe or other security software.

Shadow Defender installed, but I only use it for testing.

Edit: I added HitmanPro for on-demand scans yesterday

I've gone back to Tencent PC-Manager for now, because it is has virtually no noticable system impact on my i3 powered laptop.

I just wish I had the same AV obsession as you! Well, not really, but seems like you're having a lot of fun. :D

@roger_m What enticed you to buy Malware Hunter, is it any good? I haven't seen any reviews.

It's an on demand scanner using Avira's scan engine. I find it to be useful as a second opinion scanner, as it can be installed alongside any other security software becuase it has not real time protection. However, the UI is a blatant ripoff of 360 Total Security.

Any thoughts on using a hitmanpro.alert, voodooshield, Sandboxie, and Windows firewall control configuration?

I'd get rid of GridinSoft AM because it has a lot of false positives and a bad detection rate.
