So far, so good. Not seeing the cpu spikes I used to get with some of the other Panda products. Seems effective and low on resources.
if anyone knows what's new in terms of security please let us know. There is nothing in their beta forum. Why they left AV Comparatives?
It appears to work as is. The image on the left is without the toolbar, the one on the right is with it.
No. The web protection is there without the toolbar. Notice the left image above as well as the attached.
I got a free copy of Panda Global last year for beta testing, does anybody know if they are going to do this again?
Panda Free Antivirus 17.0 Subscription and Device Management integrated in the product. Users can now manage their subscriptions (product management through My Account, Renewal and Upsell areas), as well as their anti-theft protection (My Devices area) from their products. Fully compatibles with the new Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Engine improvements for better protection and performance. Other improvements requested by Panda Community (f.e: language selection in the product). http://www.neowin.net/news/panda-free-antivirus-170
'Take note this freebie is really an extended trial of Panda Internet Security instead of an actual license. In terms of features and protections, there are no differences between a trial and a real license -- you get all the same features, updates, and protection. The difference arises in who can install it. If you have used Panda Internet Security in the past, then you might not be able to install an extended trial and thus won't be able to get this freebie. If you haven't used Panda Internet Security in the past, then you can get this freebie.' ~ op cit I'm actually a bit tempted lol.
