I think Ida has left Zemana. I have installed this v2.0.

It isn't obvious that the features in ZAL in v1.9 are still in v2.0.

I wasnt using ZAM but it looks like that is forced on me now.

I cannot get the registration with Google group to. Work to get the lifetime licence either. It won't validate my account.

Free was fully updated to run in 10 in v1.8.2.320 in November 2015. Support was first implemented in v1.8.2.16 a year earlier for the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Pro 1.9.x was never updated as such and Windows 10 was never listed in the system requirements.

It's an endless source of amusement - people who run complex stuff not for 10 in 10 and then post up "it don't work."

AntiLogger Free should have never been named AntiLogger anything.

It started out in February 2013 as a keystroke encryptor with none of the anti-stuff in Pro tho they added SSL Intrusion Protection in November 2014.

Why should their naming convention be any different now?

I just checked it, according to LinkedIn she is still working for Zemana, same goes for Emre. But I do wonder why they decided to give away ZAL for a limited amount of time, it feels a bit funny.

EDIT: According to her Twitter, Ida has left Zemana in June 2016.

That is correct. The new antilogger version works quite well and is very effective. The best version yet. Unlike the old pro version, this beta will scramble keystrokes and seems to have the full antimalware engine. ID protection is also included.

Can you give some more info about ID Theft protection, and does it give users an option to configure the HIPS?

Yeah. One has to trust the features are there as listed on its Web page.

Which don't mention SSL and System Intrusion protections and the VirusTotal API - anyone notice that yet??

Considering the number of settings available to the user in v1.9, the single on/off check box in v2 is disappointing. So, what else is new? We can't fault Zemana for the ever increasing dumbing down of the user interface. As well, it seems it's too costly to integrate an expert mode for the vast minority who can use it.

    So sad.

Well, it's been determined ZAL is really "ZAM Plus" and a completely different animal from ZAL Pro v1.9 now in End Of Life phase.

A raymond.cc v1.9 license I had stashed away extended my tower to August of next year and my laptop is good to April.

Popular acclaim and editorial content applaud ZAMAL (or ZALAM) as a demonstrably superior product.

But for me, the port 80 and relentless port 53 OpenDNS connectivity is unacceptable. How this passes by under everyone's noses is beyond me.

I'm pulling this thread from my RSS feeds but I'll drop in occasionally to check up on all the excitement.

    Cheers.

There appears to be no hips configuration as the program tries to take it's own actions as quietly as possible. I will be finding more as I use it.

    Zemana AntiLogger 2.21.1.224

    • Quieter, smarter user experience. Does not require user input for security threats.
    • Known security threats are automatically blocked.
    • Unknown applications are heuristically analyzed on Cloud-Sandbox (Pandora).
    • Malware scanning, cleaning and includes all Zemana AntiMalware features.
    • Major improvements applied on financial-protection components.

Am I going blind or have they removed the context menu scan?

Update: I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it working.

"Old pro version" did so. Uh huh. In fact, the "new pro version" injects keycrypt.dll as did the previous versions of Pro and Free.

OK, now my RSS feed is nixed. I can't stand all the misinformation, um, excitement anymore. :D

Look, I'm not getting into an argument. It my work for you, but it did NOT work on my win 64 system. What I was referring to was the blocking of keyloggers not the encryption. End of story.

Darn. I forgot to save my RSS config.

What argument? (Never mind answering that.) I'm merely correcting the record.

Pro v1.9 would never work on your "win 64 system" as it is Windows 10 (your post #44) and Pro v1.9 was never Windows 10 compatible. 8.1 max.

And yes, it did work for me. Because Windows 7 x64.

Anyhow, no prob on the mixup in your confusion between "scrambling" (encryption) and blocking. Perfectly understandable.

In some of the technical sport motorcycle forums I'm active in, some often refer to transmission when they meant cylinder head. Or tires when they meant brakes. :D

Any of you is experiencing incompatibilities (typing in chrome doesn't work) between Zemana Antilogger and MBAE or HPA?

I had issues with typing in Firefox and IE. I am running HMPA and suspect it was a conflict between the two programs. If I had real-time protection running in ZAL I had to disable Keystroke Encryption in HMPA or I was unable to type in browswers. I chose to disable the real-time protection at this stage. I'm not sure if there are any real benefits running the two together anyway...hopefully someone more knowledgable would care to comment :)

I have uninstalled HPA and I have the same issue, so it is a problem with MBAE, or is not related with MBAE or HPA at all.

It is the same like zemana antimalware? + Antilloger?
So if someone has the zemana antilogger now he didnt need to install zemana antimalware?

Yes, Zemana antilogger is zemana antilogger + antimalware, so you don't need ZAM.
This is why I think they will end up changing the name of the product.

Using the new Antilogger with AM and Antilogger on two machines. Working flawlessly so far together with MSE.

And yeah, the name of the new product is somewhat... confusing. :) They should definitely rename the product that includes both Antilogger and Antimalware.

Works fine on Win7 x64 with MBAE installed so I doubt MBAE is the cause of the problem.

After I installed Windows 10 Pro x64 1608 in a Dell laptop, text typed in the Windows search bar didn´t appear [the search function was unusable].

The problem wasn´t solved with a reboot, I had to unistall AntiLogger Free to fix it.

OK thanks, I can understand that they want to make ZAL a tool that's geared to normal users, but for geeks that are HIPS fanatics it's bad news.

Ok, so now we need a good test against some banking trojans från MRG-Effitas to see how good Antilogger 2.0 performs. We currently have no idea.
