On El Capitan 10.11.5 (15F34) upgrading to NTFS version 14.2.359 from the prior version just stopped NTFS mounting (error "Failure while trying to mount volume"). NTFS driver verifies the plugged in NTFS drive OK.

Also, update checking was not working (failed with error). I just found that doing a cold boot fixed the issue. I had not experienced this with prior versions.

Hi Dmitriy, try a cold reboot of the system. That solved my problem. Regards, M.
