Let me ask all of you here. What's your favorite internet security App?.

If you would ask me. It's ESET NOD32 all the way.

With some of the setups that we see listed frequently in various threads, then I'm guessing that after a couple of weeks this thread will show a very high percentage of users listing tinfoil as their main protection ..... :isay:

NOD32 for sure. I've been using it for years.

SpywareBlaster, as it doesn't really use any CPU, hardly needs any maintenance, quietly does its job and doesn't bug me. SUPERAntiSpyware comes as a close second as it's the only anti-malware app that's ever found anything malicious on a computer I have owned, plus it removes tracking cookies.

I thought that this thread was for favourite additional security app's as opposed to fully fledged AV's. And I forgot to mention my other favourite security application program: Ubuntu.

Well, @Oleg says his favourite is ESET NOD32 which is an AV isn't it?

Yes, that's true. I just thought it made more sense if the thread was about additional security app's rather than fully fledged AV's. Otherwise, like you say, there's not much point to the thread. ;)

;) Yeah Dave, we probably should use it before clicking on email attachments and links, and before downloading illegal pirated software, and before installing PUPS. We should read EULA before installing stuff too.

    Anyhoo, sorry for the OT.
