For Tencent as I said there are several reasons.
    - First of all I can't find download links for it, hoping this is it >> http://www.pcmgr-global.com/
    - Second reason is that is comes bundled with malware downloaders installing silently without user interaction
    - Third reason are aggressive pop-ups and widgets
    - Fake warnings about legitimate programs and tools
    - Lack of international English language

The main reason is that it comes bundled with malware downloader. As long as it keeps installing that way, it will be detected by Zemana. Not only this one, but all other software.

@TwinHeadedEagle You are mistaken. Yes that is the website. But, it is the website for the international English language version. You're saying it is a bad product, and yet you had no idea there was an English version.

It comes with no malware. If it did, I would not be tested my major AV testing organisations. That is also my experience from having installed it on a number of PCs.
It has no widgets, and the only popups you get are when it detects a potentional threat, or when there is a new version released.
It gives no fake warnings. It has minor issues with false positives, but they are certainly not serious when you look at how it has performed in testing against other antiviruses with regards to false positives.

Some of the points you have made may apply to the Chinese version. I'm unsure on this as I've never used it. But, I can assure you as someone who used PC Manager on and off since the English lanugage version was first released, do not apply to this version.

I will also add, that is it using Bitdefender's scan engine (alongside it's own), and in the past had used Avira's scan engine.

It's quite ridiculous that I just installed PC Manager, on a computer that already had Zemana installed on it, and PC Manager detected the system tray componet of PC Manager as being dangerous.

Serious and reputable product doesn't come bundle with malware installer. When they stop doing this, we will remove detection.

It is called aggressive marketing. Imagine Zemana doing the same thing for a piece of market cake. We would like as much as promotion as we could get, but you must do it in legal and fair ways, not by being pushed through malware downloaders.

@TwinHeadedEagle Can you provide any details of malware installers which include PC Manager. I not saying that your statement is not true, but I always like to see evidence to back up a statement, so I can see it for myself. Until I see actual evidence, I will continue install PC Manager on my own computer and customers' computers

Okay here is it. Please let me know if you would like to have something like this on your computer. Strange Chinese letters and pop-ups along with GPU miner frying your graphics card. Signed by Tencent.

Just a quick question for the Zemana folk. Can anyone confirm if the 7Zip plugin is going to be updated to version 16 because as far as i`m aware there are a couple of vulnerabilities in any pre version 16 and i notice that Zemana AchiveManager.dll uses the 9.38 Beta plugin.

I understand that it`s a very limited and unlikely to come across flaw.

    Cheers...

It uses several engines in the cloud scan but Zemana will give out no information as to which ones (you can get an idea from some of the detections ;) ) . Quite rightly in my opinion. As for signed files, sorry no idea, hopefully a Zemana spokeperson can confirm that..

@TwinHeadedEagle It's important to note that you don't get any of the popups or the GPU miner with the English version of PC Manager, which is the version that myself and other at Wilders would be using.

The Chinese and International versions are two very different products. The English version is solely an antivirus, while the Chinese version includes cleanup/speedup functions, a software updater and various other tools. I just installed the Chinese version to try, and it does give a lot of popups and ads. However, it did not come with GPU miner (maybe it doesn't come with it anymore).

The international version only shows popups when an actual threat is detected, or to give the option to update to a new version, and does not not install any other software. Can you tell me what is bad about the international version?

I'd like to join ZAM as a beta tester also.
Where do I sign up and get my licenses and latest beta build?
Are the licenses only for beta builds or for the final builds also?

Lastly, what 10 AV engines does ZAM use?

I might have answered my own question, but is it still Metadefender Core 8?
I really think that Metadefender Core 16 is where the true power lies, as you get the big detection heros such as Kaspersky, F-Prot, Ikarus, AVG And Emsisioft.

I suppose you should go and contact them why are they promoting their products via malware downloaders. I believe that international version is okay, but I suppose they can use other digital signature for it. Then we will remove the detection.

    @Secure_Guy

BETA registration group is no longer available.

I also see the "DNS Hijack" warning due to Acrylic DNS using 127.0.0.1

I guessed it was warning against anything that had altered that value, so I exclude it manually.

I can send feedback from within ZAM (portable) so I have sent a report about the 127.0.0.1 issue.
