Does anyone know if their is a Voodoo Shields manual or information that would help me understand the different modes and what not. I've installed the latest version and all is running good. :)

I always use the Whitlisting mode myself. I assume AutoPilot is for ones that are not as Techie and for common users to make it more user friendly......?

FYI, the Scan and Allow Mode has been renamed Autopilot Mode.

So far 3.18 is running really smoothly for me. No issues at all with freezing etc (not that I personally had the freezing issue myself). I'm also running Sandboxie and Adguard Premium, so as a trio it's been a really good, light combination.

VS 3.18 doing fine here too. The only problem I had was with the last version. After a reboot, it cleared up. This version is solid on this laptop. Also running Sandboxie and have the free Sophos Home installed and Firefox browser. Everything playing nicely together.

VS 3.18 is working fine for me too. Tested with Eset Smart Security on 1 system & Windows Defender on another system.

I just miss the blacklisted vulnerable processes option.

VS 3.18 is running great here. I haven't heard a peep out of VS since I installed the latest beta, but that has been the problem, when I DO here from VS it has frozen not long after.

.... Anyway, so far so great!.

I see you mostly have probs with VS especially freeze prob. In your signature I see you run quite a few security softs.
Have you tried testing VS alone i.e removing all the security softs? Just to check if you face the probs or not.

For another reason I had to uninstall HMP.A. That made absolutely no difference. Yep, that leaves Norton + MBAM.

Given that you are continue having probs with VS, I think would be good to give a try to VS with no security softs, what you say?

May be install Rollback Rx & then uninstall all security softs & try VS. This way you can try VS without security softs & later restore back with Rollback Rx & all your security softs will be there.

I test VS the above way too.

I mentioned Rollback Rx coz uninstall all security softs & later reinstall all will take time. With Rollback you can uninstall & later restore back & then uninstall Rollback Rx.

    Was just a suggestion.

Hi dan! just installed the 3.18 beta today , works fine along Norton Security. the only downside is the quite long time for VoodooShield to load up. Remember , If you need the dutch translation for VS just sent me a PM. will be glad , doing that for you ;)

Thank you TH, Baldrick and NWOAbschaum!

Yeah, the VoodooAi Sensitivity is basically to adjust or fine tune VoodooAi because it is a little on the protective side... it is basically so that users and I can fine tune the sensitivity and hopefully find the perfect balance. I imagine somewhere around 88-92% will be the best setting ultimately, but it is hard to say. When VS is on AutoPilot, if VoodooAi detects a file a file as suspicious or unsafe, VS will show a prompt, but it is a little over protective by default. So if you adjust the VoodooAi Sensitivity a little to the left, it will automatically allow more items. But if you want it to be a little more over protective, you can adjust it a little more to the right. The idea is to find the setting that auto allows all of the good stuff, but still blocks all of the bad stuff ;). If someone finds a settings that seems to work really well for them, please let me know and I will run my VS in that setting for awhile and see how it does. Once we find the right setting that automatically allows the highest percentage of safe items, while still blocking all of the bad items, then we can hardwire it into VS.

BTW, the VoodooAi Sensitivity also works with the other modes, but VS is going to block the item either way. But the adjusted VoodooAi score will be displayed... so no matter what mode you run VS in, we can fine tune VoodooAi.

I hope that makes sense, if not, please let me know, thank you!

Same here... I still prefer Smart Mode ;). Yeah, the whole purpose of AutoPilot is to automatically make the determination for the user (so that they are not prompted), whenever it is possible to do this safely. Hopefully in 3-4 months, it will be able to auto allow even more items automatically... I think there is a lot of fine tuning we can do on it. Thank you!
