    The big issue isn't that this is happening, you could potentially trust the company with said data. The big issue is that it's not securely transmitted.

    So how do companies such as 360 Total Security rate in such issues as privacy? Do they collect and send personal info required of Chinese companies?

    Ubuntu on PC is the way to go.
    You use a smartphone and you require privacy. Are you ******* kidding me?

    I'm not surprised, nowadays even "legit" software is acting like spyware. I won't lie, I don't even trust most AV companies anymore. And don't forget about Windows 10 which is a privacy fiasco, and I'm also surprised that Chrome is so popular. You're not going to tell me they don't collect data either. And yes, you can turn this off supposedly, but I still don't trust it.

    I don't know, I came across an article on WeChat and did some more searching on Tencent.
    A quick search on 360(Qihoo) doesn't reveal much, though there are some serious allegations against them, which they have denied, but I don't think anything is proven.
