    This release is pretty big, so probably I forgot to mention some changes in release notes. Will write it if remember :)
    The next release 3.11 will be release soon and will contain the new SHA256 signature and VoodooAi prompt improvement.

    @VoodooShield

    This appears to be a bug

    Go to: UI Tweaks and select "Hide the desktop shield gadget when another program is full screen" and Save.

    Open up a browser session (I used Firefox in this case) and then go to YouTube, watch any video in Full screen and the VS Gadget is still visible, when it shouldn't be.

    This at one point worked in previous versions, but it doesn't now.

    If it helps, I am using version 3.10 beta (Pro)

    Hopefully you can confirm this on your end.

    Vlad, I just sent a bug report to Dan. Sorry I lost your email address. Below is the email I sent to Dan. I will post the settings I used here with screenshots below in case anyone else wants to see if they can reproduce these problems. I will send you the report after I find your email again. Below is the email I sent to Dan with Logs, and other needed data.

    The version I just installed is VS beta 3.10. I have already ran into several problems with this build that did not occur with build 3.0.4.0. I received a plain white box for a prompt after plugin-container.exe (belongs to firefox) was blocked. I changed the VS shield settings so I would receive a prompt for anything not on the whitelist instead of deny by default. I also unticked the option to automatically whitelist everything from the Program Files Folders, and I unticked automatically allow by parent process.

    Also VS is silently blocking applications, and causing me to receive a prompt from windows saying the application seems to have been deleted. I can't remember the exact wording of the prompt. I then receive a prompt from VS about a minute later for the application I attempted to launch that Windows thinks has been deleted. This problem is occurring with any application from Program Files that is not already on the whitelist. The following executables below from the Program files Folders have triggered this bug so far, but I think any application not already on my whitelist from Program Files Folders will cause this bug to occur. Sometime VS will allow the parent, and block the child. I think maybe the parent was whitelisted during the initial snapshot, and the child was not. In all cases VS does not prompt me until about 30 seconds after attempting to launch applications not on the whitelist.

    plugin-container.exe (belongs to firefox)
    crashsender1402.exe (Belongs to Agent Ransack) https://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack
    Keypass.exe (keypass 2.31)
    rlhtmlrenderer.exe (child process for ActivePresenter Screen Recording software). http://atomisystems.com/activepresenter/
    PDFXCview.exe (belongs to PDF-XChangeViewer, VS does not prompt me until about 30 seconds after attempting to launch the application)

    I attached all VS ProgramData in the archive, took screenshots of the settings i'm using, and my User Log. I changed the User Interface Tweaks Settings a couple of times, but the problem seemed to be worse with default settings. I think it will be important for you to use the same settings i'm using. I'm using Windows 7X64 Ultimate.

    regards,

    Mike

    Hey Dan,

    I'm not sure if you'll answer this or not but I'm going to ask it just the same because it has been on my mind for months.

    Does VS automatically white list governmental spyware? You know, the stuff Snowden warns us about.

    The reason for this message is SHA1 digital signature of the installer is deprecated by Microsoft. As I mentioned in the release notes the new signature will be added to the installer in the next version. It wasn't added in the current version, because it could break the autoupdate, so this version has a fix for the autoupdate and the next will have the new digital signature

    As you can see from my location I don't work for US government :) To be serious VS doesn't have such backdoors

    @VoodooShield
    Bug: The initial snapshot (after installing) generates wrong checksums:
    Edit: Not a bug. I tested VS last year a little bit (i forgot this) and these were only leftovers.
