favourite 3 NONE security freeware

i know there have been threads like this before, but, i dont think there has been one on none security apps. it would be a great help for everyone, and especially people like me whom are fairly knew to computers (only 6/7 months or so, and maybe missing out on some great none security programs e.g how to watch TV using my computer. so i pleaed with you, only put down programs that arent normally mentioned in security forums, and stay on topic, and try to add programs we may not know, otherwise theres no point.

it's new to me, but so far the sound is great and its easy to use, 1000's of preprogramed radio stations and skinable. just be careful when downloading plugins, dont download any Wild Tangent, its spyware

Here are three freewares I like:

Pixia. A very light graphic program. When I want to draw fast I use that program for it is very convenient.After you finish the installation of the program, you can add Photoshop filters in it. But you cannot use the program for creating animations.

I'd be hard-pressed to come up with just three, but these three were the first to come to mind.

1. I've got an antique copy of DBase for Windows that I picked up second- (or "x-many"-)hand at a local shop. I worked on DBase at work for many years, and was pleasantly surprised to find how much of it is still almost second nature to me.

This one was written for Win 3.1 but runs quite happily under XP without even have to touch compatibility settings. Even its debugger, which recognized and refused to run under 98SE, is happy with XP.

Sorry no link -- these days I think it's from Borland, if they're still around, and quite expensive new (several hundred $).

2. Graphics Workshop Pro -- recognizes just about every graphics format under the sun, and is dandy for converting between formats, resizing, and they keep adding new "filters" every time you blink. Not geared for actual painting, but it'll neatly save a temp copy of whetever. open Paint (or whatever) to work on that, then convert the result back to whatever format you started with. $45 US, but they're very liberal about "evaluation" period. http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gww.html

ivideomax this thing is a nust have for video converting i have the old free demo shareware lol where it had no limit other then you couldnt output to mpeg

i found it today on my pc i never knew i had it

i found it cause i was haveing a problem with a porn movie

i couldnt get the whole movie to out put it would always be cut in half even if it is a full movie

pissst me off

i tryed over 81 video makeing softwares and ivideomax was the only one that could get the full movie to convert over

and i tryed some seriouse high end applications ivideomax was the only one that could do it

that says alot

if any of you into video converting and editing ivideomax is the one
