I have an iMac using El Capitan and Windows 10 through VMWare. There is a Thunderbolt external drive (formatted to NTFS using a PC) attached to the iMac. I only want to use it on the Windows side (using VMWare Fusion), however permissions don't allow for writing to the drive. If I install NTFS for Mac, will it allow me write to the NTFS drive on the windows side. Fusion Tools creates a "Share" on the Windows side which allows the NTFS external drive mounted in OSX.

Before I pull the trigger and purchase NTFS for Mac I'd like some assurance it will work.
