That video only works with Flash plugin enabled. If blocking 3rd-party frames, noop-ing "newsinc.com" worked fine. More specifically, "launch.newsinc.com".

I cannot find where you add custom filters for Palemoon??

"How to add custom filters (firefox / chromium browsers)
    firefox:
click abp icon, filter preferences, "custom filters" tab, if you dont see any filters group create 1, then paste the filters in the right panel (if you dont see the panel drag the vertical pointed line on the right to the left)"

    Hi @gorhill

Unfortunately it looks like the fake-uBlock stuff is back on the Google web store, and using your new logo now. Please see below.

I would like uBO to have a button in GUI to revert ALL temporary changes (similar to uMatrix).
I also would like the rules saving behaviour changed when you tell "being an advanced user" on those basic features like disable uBO on site basis, blocking popups and remote fonts not be imminently permanent but instead on the control of the padlock.

Yes, I noticed too that the Chrome store situation has got worse. Now that ditepi whatever has changed the icon too.

@Jarmo - open tab "my rules" and press 2nd button on left column - or restart browser - as long you dont have clicked the lock button on the matrix panel. or click the rubber when site is open. entries in "my filters" you have to edit manually.

That is not it, not what I was talking about. First understand that I am talking about the options that relate to non andvanced GUI part.
    Examples:
    1. When a uBO is disabled on a site the tab is not 'my rules' but instead some 'whitelist'-tab and of course the change is imminent.
    2. Popups are globally disabled with: no-popups: * true
I need to thus add on this site a rule: no-popups: ilmatieteenlaitos.fi false
to allow popups on it using the GUI. Even if I want to just allow a popup to check if it is needed, the rule above is made imminently to it. This is also as it should be when the advanced GUI user is not available.

What I am asking makes only sense if the "advanced user" option is enabled. Asking that the above imminent permanent rule option behaviour be then changed. Because an advanced user typically wants to padlock his permanent rules in every case. At least I do.

It is too easy as an example as a lazy user to disable uBO on some site and forget that currently the change is permanent. And be disappointed to find out such a thing maybe weeks later or never.

Jarmo - open settings and go to tab "my rules" - the settings panel is same for regular or advanced users.
if the rubber and lock are only show in advanced gui - that is purpose. if you feel unlucky dont complain, insert a suggestion at github for raymond.

This Brummelch has been time and time again posting his&her lines with little concern except to mislead other persons posts!

I think it would be time to learn to read first and then to think what the read done mean't. And ONLY after some serious thinking of if any useful contribution to the OP post will be done to add something by him/her.

My post above was quite deep and thus might get past of a littlemind.

Chrome store and faked apps ... nothing new. :shifty:

Just check reputation and comments and this trap will never work, never blindly install something.

i cant save pages with opera beta or dev
    www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/2016/
    my rules
    example
    http://de.giveawayoftheday.com/roboform-everywhere-7-9/

stuck at 9 of 44 elements. varies on used filter lists, but stuck.
    i have to allow
    google-analytics.com
    pagead2.googlesyndication.com
    www.giveawayoftheday.com

the logger stops here when saving
    then here
    and here
i need to unlock complete google-analytics and googlesyndication, the concerning files alone do not work.

the page itself is displayed correct.

on heise.de same - i need to allow other sites but with same default settings it got stuck at 2 of xx.

the current opera stable (final) has no problems.

if it is an opera problem i dont know where to screw.

It's done automatically every 4-5 days. I normally don't update manually.

if some like trashing sites and messing up with firefox - go ahead.
ublock is first an ad-filter, umatrix a pure content filter more granbular than, noscript is only a script filter (and a bit redirect and ABE)
uB and uM ofc contain a bad site filter list (hosts files) - if one is used -> deactivate the other (recommended by raymond)
uMatrix is a sophisticated filter - NOT set and forget. noscript is - nothing in a comparison ;)
