Is regularly purging the contents of this folder advisable? I noticed this week, when I was having mucho problemos with updating, cleaning out this folder did help get immediate response from the servers. Also, what's the purpose of having this folder, with recent update files? It's not the resident signature file location, I assume.

In over 2 years of using Nod32, I have never had to touch this folder. I think what you have come across is pretty much a one off...

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

You're likely correct. My problem now with updates appears to be confined to only one of the servers, u2a.eset.com.

The errors I get connecting to servers have been similarly confined to u2a.eset.com for the last few days.

    Hi All

The contents of this folder is used during incremental engine update. It's safe to delete contents of the folder, but it will increase update download time.
