agnitum have managed to extend the trade in to 17FEB16 to coincide with the activation deadline requirement, this was confirmed by their management.

Wayne how do I get my 2 keys re-sent to me. Kaspersy wasn't letting me type in the search bar so I did a restore thus losing both my keys. Now when I enter my key for Outpost firewall at agnitum they say they have no record of my key. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

did you not keep the email with the KISS key(s) or save them to a text file? you should be able to reuse them there when reinstalling KISS. your agnitum key appears to have been cancelled as was a condition of the trade, so i'm not surprised they couldn't find it. if you are reinstalling OPFW or OSS you should be able to install with the OP key tho you may not get any updates & may get barred for using someone elses key (it belongs to kaspersky now). any problems at this point you should refer to kaspersky support as cabville suggests, i have zero pull with them and haven't any contacts there either, especially since i am not using KISS.

Do you mean no reply? If they did reply, could you post the reply?

Well, this sucks. Only FW I have been using for, at least, 8 years. So, If I trade in my lifetime license and get Kaspersky, I can just use the FW in the suite, correct? Is that a big step down from Outpost? Should I look at other options?

I'm using Emisoft Anti-Malware and Voodoo Shield.

    Hello ,

Thank you for contacting Kaspersky Lab Technical Support.

I do apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused but rest assured that I will be able to help you out with that concern.

Unfortunately you would need to contact the reseller of the software.

In this case we can no longer do anything because the software was not purchased from our online store Digital River.

If you need further assistance, kindly refer to this link http://usa.kaspersky.com/support/home/contact-options/live-chat?ICID=INT50004723 for our Chat Support and a live person will be assisting you real-time. Chat support is available Monday to Sunday from 5AM to 11PM Eastern Time, (except select holidays). Or, should you wish to call us, you can reach our toll free number at 1-866-525-9094. Kaspersky Home Phone Support is available from Monday to Sunday 5AM to 11PM Eastern Time (except select holidays).

Thank you for contacting Kaspersky Lab Technical Support and have a nice day!

Good Afternoon! Zach! The Customer Service Reps...Should have a Note On their Screens...with All relevant info updated in their communication from Agnitum! Now the Chat support are they a third party vendor with Kaspersky...or actual Employees of Kaspersky? Or are they Employees of Digital River? I'm interested in the outcome because the same occurrence happened to me when using Agnitum's Migration link. If Kaspersky has that info they should be able to provide you with the license keys with very little fuss. Let us know what Happens in contacting Kaspersky. Sincerely...Securon

I gave them the license I used to get Kaspersaky. But they won't help me anymore. This is what they said when I gave them my outpost key.

Unfortunately we do not have the capability to check the code using that particular format.

The best advise that I can suggest is to contact the reseller of the software.

No, it's designed to be a complete suite, you cannot just use the FW in Kaspersky. By coincidence i now use a little bit of the same as yourself: Emsisoft Suite, VoodooShield and Heimdal, very light and i like the fact Emsisoft is a native application.

Thanks. So I would be better off just keeping the Outpost FW and use it until the end of the year, right? Since I don't need a whole suite.

In that case yes, why not stay with what you got if you have no interest in trying Kaspersky instead of OP/Emsisoft? Seems like an easy decision, you can always explore maybe going with the Emsisoft suite or other setups next year. :)

Actually, you can use it until it stops working, which in the case of Windows 7 and 8, is probably never. Both 7 and 8 are at the stage in their life cycles that are unlikely to result in changes that will break compatibility. And Outpost is mature enough that it will likely not need much in the line of bug fixes. Just because support ends at the end of the year doesn't mean it becomes useless. Windows 10 is another matter. I see it going through a few changes that could cause problems down the line.

OK. Thanks, guys. I'll just keep it. I do have Windows 10 so if it starts misbehaving, I can just switch to someone else. Thanks, again.

Problem solved. It was Zemmana causing the problem. Disabled antilogger now everything is working just fine.

Unfortunately this is the first I have heard of this, but I haven't used my 3 PC lifetime license in years anyway.

OK. I also have been using Outpost FW for years. Sad news.
Now I'm in search of alternative. Who can suggest something like Outpost?
I tried Privatefirewall, but didn't like it - mostly because of its weird feature - every user has a separate configuration.

    Any recommendations maybe?

I would say that Outpost firewall is supposed to be good until the end of the year so that gives us lots of time to look for a new one.
