    Thirteen years here.

I personally don't see any real alternatives at the moment.

I am however currently with Comodo for my Windows 10 install.

I find Comodo does have some good qualities, but very difficult to swallow with it's not so user-friendly GUI.

Some of its feature implementations and lack of (and a few), I don't care for either.

Rather, perhaps very, sad that it's still being offered for sale. It was a great product.

Phant0m: Now that you abandoned LNS, do you plan to release your ruleset as freeware/abandoneware?

Me and these Chinese would appreciate it:

I don't speak Chinese, but i see a lot of frowny face emojis in the Windows 10 thread.

I've been pondering about that. However I'm holding onto glimmer of hope that Frederic will one day in the near future return with an update. I still have a computer or two that's still with the previous Windows. That being said, ... I'll ponder awhile longer.

Btw: Frederic may have abandoned Look 'n' Stop. However, P. Ruleset still being supported.

I emailed the web site a couple weeks ago asking if they could confirm whether or not the software is still being developed and got no answer so IMHO this is abandoned.

on Win10 Windows Firewall is good enough for home users, learn to create rules or use 3rd party GUI like Binisoft's Windows Firewall Control

    If you are
One of the reasons that may not be exactly true for everyone would be if they are running a local proxy. Aside from issues like this, one thing is not good for everyone. If it was, we'd all be driving Fords.
