Well said...this is just what is going through my mind...and I could name one or two more of the like that have gone the 'wrong' way.

I stumbled over this subject and wanted to read more about 'subscription', 'activation', etc. in the EULA.
Maybe I am overlooking it, but I vainly tried to find the license document on the Surfright site.
It looks like one has to buy the product first, before getting to know the contents of the EULA...?

Now, if.. rpt if the EULA would outline an automatic subscription, one only gets to know this after purchasing?

btw - I guess, when buying the word 'Subscription' might be replaced by 'License'

Good point! We're going to fix this in January. We are not offering subscriptions, only licenses and a license is not automatically extended.

    Thanks Mark.
Will you be adding an EULA PDF to your site. At some points your site refers to the license but then again, I believe it is not available for download(?)

    Will this combination work:
    Emsisoft Internet Security
    HitmanPro
    HitmanPro.Alert

    HitmanPro to replace MBAM
    (I don't have MBAE)

    Thanks

HMP and HMPA work fine with Emsisoft AntiMalware, for now; the EIS firewall may introduce an unknown. Anyone?

If you have alert, you will not actually need Pro separately. You can call pro from alert. I have eam, will test EIS

Thank you all! Really appreciate it. As said, I just have EIS+MBAM and will uninstall MBAM to replace it with HitmanPro + HitmanPro.alert.
    Again, thanks!

By the way, I installed HMP - entered license key etc.
At the end I was asked to reboot, did so accordingly.
    Does HMP show up somewhere?

I mean Context menu, Desktop, Taskbar, Start->All programs?
With me it doesn't show up at all.
No hitman or surfright folders on C:

    Don't know if that's idea...
    (Haven't installed HMPA yet)

For me the HMP files are in "C:\Program Files\HitmanPro", while the HMPA files are in "C:\Program Files (x86)\HitmanPro.Alert".

I'm running an 64-bits version of Windows.

I've been using HMP.A with ESET SS 8 and they have been a solid combo. But I upgraded to ESET SS 9 and noticed Banking & Payment Protection won't work with HMP.A installed. Upon reading, others have noted it doesn't work with most keystroke encryption software.

I can live without B&PP as I use Sandboxie but what do people think here? Is there an under the hood conflict I'm not seeing that may impede protection? I also wondered about ESET's Exploit Protection module, as far as I know it works differently to HMP.A (protocol) so would I be right in assuming they will be fine coexisting? Since I like HMP.A so much, I was thinking of disabling ESET's EP and just rock pure HMP.A.

I did run the HMP.A exploit tool and everything worked fine, for some reason though my mind won't settle on the matter.
