Currently I use Sirius & iTunes, which come from Dell PC, sound is outputed to speakers. The Dell has a minijack for "headphones." If i plugged in a "wireless bluetooth" adapter, into the PC's headphones via minijack, could I then pair it with wireless headphones? Any suggestions for "bluetooth" headphones, I'll be actively working in the garage, & need something that won't get in the way of working projects Thanks Rico
Hi, for better sound quality than bluetooth, get a decent dedicated combined FM stereo wireless headphone transmitter/receiver set. Just plug it into your 3.5mm PC socket, & you're good to go.
Would either have problems transmitting from inside a wooden box? Adapter would be in a cabinet wood, 30 feet from cabinet is all I'm looking for. CloneRanger - Any examples google "FM stereo wireless headphone transmitter/receiver set", Amazon showed bluetooth. is FM stereo wireless significantly better than bluetooth, sound wise. Thanks Rico
I would just get a pair of Bluetooth headphones and use the computer's Bluetooth to transmit the sound. What you were asking about would take the analog signal from the PC and convert it to BT before transmitting it. That kind of adapter is really meant for devices that have no way of transmitting BT, like an old iPod or a TV set. It would be better to skip a step and just transmit BT audio directly from the PC. If your PC doesn't have BT, get an adapter for that. You would just have to set your PC and/or media player to send audio to that device. I like Foobar2000 for playback, as it can set an output device independently of the PC's default device (many applications just use the default audio device). I don't know about range though. If you need to get an adapter, you might want to consider one with an antenna.
A lot of manufactures make Non BT wireless headphone devices. Here are just a few as examples. Different chips & codecs etc etc, produce different results. If you want high quality, i would avoid BT anyway.

@ Rico Yes Sen are a Very good brand. Glad you went fishing in the loft & found them. Funny how we can forget what we already have sometimes If the batteries fail @ some point, you can get replacements. Enjoy
