I get my Australian licenses from http://store.pcauthority.com.au/?act=search&brand=232 They are always cheaper than buying direct from Webroot, sometimes significantly so. They are legit and operate via Cleverbridge, the original dealers for Prevx.

(I hope I'm allowed to post this link, apologies if not)

Good to go! It looks like Downloadcrew. http://store.downloadcrew.com/
Also don't be concerned about the Year as Webroot Drop it and you always get the current versions.

Odd question--I thought Webroot licenses became active once you installed them or entered the license key and NOT when you purchased the software? At least, that's how it's been the last 2 years when I purchased Webroot via a Black Friday or Cyber Monday special (usually via NewEgg).

Well, that's not what happened this time. My wife purchased a new Asus laptop almost 3 months ago. As a part of that purchase, BestBuy gave her a Webroot Internet Security Plus DVD/CD. I saved it (and never activated it) knowing that my current Webroot license would be expiring around Black Friday. So, on Friday, I entered the new product key or license key from the BestBuy Webroot case. (I didn't need to re-install Webroot as I already have/had Webroot ISP.) Lo and behold, I was expecting it to show that I have 365 more days of protection. But, that is not the case. Instead, it now shows that I only have 280 days of protection?!

Is this somehow related to the fact that it came from BestBuy and it came with my wife's laptop??

P.S. Of interesting note, on the account page, it states "Your Webroot security is provided by Geek Squad. Click below for product info and to connect with a Geek Squad agent." So, does that mean that Webroot will not provide me with technical supporto_O

I'm, answering Idiots, It doesn't say whatsoever Complete version and If you bother to open your eyes, (which obviously you cant be bothered to) the posted link http://www.webroot.com/au/en/home/products/isp The bleedin' thing is highlighted in Orange 3! Devices SecureAnywhere™ Internet Security Plus then 1yr 2yrs 3yrs below those Orange boxes are previous prices crossed out...Please don't Prove the statement where you said "Perhaps I'm Thick" That Webroot link is the only 1 I've posted in this topic, so I cannot figure out where ( which I haven't) I mentioned anything else besides SecureAnywhere™ Internet Security Plus Prices

Sorry to rankle you, mate. Was just repeating what I posted within 24 hours of your original post regarding Webroot prices. As I said there, I carefully checked the Australian website and 300 AUD was indeed for Complete 5 devices 3 years (now reduced and on special offer) and in no way for Internet Security Plus. I was trying to correct what appeared to me to be a false representation of Webroot prices.

Obviously, I'm winding you up the wrong way so I'll terminate our exchange with this post.

BestBuy activates at the cashier so it starts right away and it should say on the Box or the cashier should of told you and if you got the Boxed version Webroot Support will look after you, and if you got it from Geek Squad Subscription services then Geek Squad will look after you. Note Subscription Only from Geek Squad: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/geeksquad-dl

None of that was made clear at the time of purchase! Oh bother! I guess now I'm going to have to go back and see if there are still any good remaining Black Friday or Cyber Monday Webroot deals.... I have no interest in contacting or working with Geek Squad. I'd much prefer working directly with Webroot. (Not that I've had much need to ever contact Webroot....)

Do newegg download deals include Webroot's own company tech support?

Yes all version have the Web Shield see here: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php and the Official Browsers are IE, Chrome, Firefox and there are some unofficial work around with a couple of Browsers Based on Chrome and Firefox (Cyberfox)

It works with Google, Bing - unfortunately not with Startpage or DuckDuckGo ...
Edit: But I see it is 'In Process' :) https://community.webroot.com/t5/Id...arch-engines-like-DuckDuckGo-and/idi-p/205208

Again only the main Search Engines Yahoo, Bing and Google and as you said in time DuckDuckGo but they can't support all Browsers or Search Engines it's not Financially sound IMO with all the coding and the upkeep of the coding as we see many changes in the way Chrome & Firefox are with Extensions.

Is it Android or iPhone? Do you want to use the Beta Keycode or Free version?

Which Keycode?...The one from my [existing] desktop install? ...or, different?

P.S. I know what I am doing on my desktop, but my smartphone is a whole different kettle of fish. ;)
